Shark variety

You're Species is notorious both both in the ocean and on land. You are proud of your own species that has survived 5 extinction periods and and think you deserve the respect your fearsome reputation warrants to you, even though a lot of it is born of ignorance.

As a woman of this species you are exceptionally thick-skinned and have a bias towards strong partners who are not cowed by your powerful presence. Although beauty is a natural quality of your species, you don't shy away from dangerous business which might leave you scarred for life, rather you would show your wounds off with pride!

Although, you currently haven't got a single scar to your name. You're rather embarrassed by the smooth unblemished skin of your tail with it's iconic dorsal- and caudal- fin.

"Indeed." smiles the turtle merman indulgently. "You will awake fear and respect wherever you go. There would be many who give way to your desires but may chase you should you approach what they treasure, unable to understand you. The simplest path to acceptance may be to stay among your own kind who can understand you or remain a hermite exploring the sea alone. Beware of humans for only fear and strife lie that way."

You're opinion of the turtle man instantly drops, he's probably just biased because some of your kind enjoy eating sea-turtles.

"Dear maiden, I must ask, what subspecies of shark are you?" He ask with what you think is a shallow smile.
