The idea was to mix a female form of her great granddaughter with the form of a powerful spirit or creature. Obvious choices were that of a long or kitsune. A Raiju, a creature of lightning and fire, would make an interesting choice. Many creatures were given this name like cats, monkeys and weasels. Yet the one she was thinking of was a wolf of lightning or flame. For another element would be that of a Yuki-onna with power over ice and snow, with perhaps some ghostly powers.
