Ranma

Cologne was looking into the profile of Ranma Saotome, after making the choice to focus on the major source of conflict for the plans she had for her granddaughter. Cologne could tell her child loved the boy and would have gone after him even if the marriage laws didn't tell her to marry the boy. It was simple, 'Even if she was just an ordinary Japanese girl, she would have tried to catch his eye. Who wouldn't want a caring strong martial artist, even if you had to fight against his ego or his own mouth. The problems are his faults as well as my great granddaughter's. Yet I want to save my great granddaughter for later, so let's look at the bridegroom.'

Looking at the history, she was pleasantly surprised. She read and thought, "It seemed like even son-in-law is not immune to my Shampoo's sexuality. He is just overwhelmed by it and it usually occurs in situations where he can get into trouble with others. Others with heavy objects in their hands. So I just have to adjust Ranma to be able to accept the open sexuality of my great-granddaughter. Of course, on the other hand, when I modify Shampoo I will give her better judgement at when to use that sexuality."

'Now about the emotions, he is closer to the Tendo girl and considers the Kuonji girl more of a best friend then possible romantic interest. So Shampoo would have come in second in the ranking. He was mostly resistant to her opposing personality of being both a sexy, cheerful innocent girl and yet a cruel, brutal warrior. Especially the element of the cruel streak in her personality is a major turn off for the boy. I admit I don't like her sadistic side, even if I can accept her manipulative side. So it would work best if I erased this element from Shampoo or at least mute it. I can, however, turn the feelings the boy has for Akane into something more brotherly. When I pull up the Tendo girl, I can make such feelings run both ways.' Cologne began to type out some of the corrections she wanted to make. Cologne also continued with increasing the feelings the boy had for Shampoo as he usually saw her as a pest. A sexy, beautiful pest... yet still a pest.

'Of course, tipping the balance in Shampoo's favour wouldn't hurt. Causing an interest in larger, firmer breasts would make it easier to woe him away from the less chesty Akane. Not that she's flat chest with her breast being a medium size and growing, but she is at the low end of her peers including Ranma. An interest in skill martial artists, linked back with his own near absoulte focus on the arts, would create a stronger bond. Then a liking for crimson eyes and violet hair would also aid in the quest. Plus a growing affection and physical attraction to Shampoo couldn't hurt.' Cologne had to face the fact of the matter, which is Ranma was not much of a problem. Shampoo loved him for most of his faults, and even Ranma might have fallen for Shampoo if their had been none of the other factors.

The factor he had latched on to Akane was likely due to her wanting to be his friend, at least according to the story as Nabiki told it. If Shampoo had not given the Kiss of **** and tried to be the girl's friend, or the boy had been a boy at that moment, it might have been possible Shampoo would have been the one to bet on. Ranma had accepted Akane with her anger issues, he might have Shampoo excluding the nasty side. So while she was tempted to smooth off some of the edges of the boy, she kept him much the same.

'Now the question is whether to change Akane Tendo or Shampoo next... or try something completely different like myself.' Cologne looked at the remaining profiles.
