Annita stood outside the mosque, taking a moment to catch her breath.

"Are you certain that you want to do this?" Dana inquired and Annita nodded. As much as she loved her girlfriend, there was one more step that needed to be taken.

"Yes, my love." Annita answered as she stepped inside the mosque. Looking around a couple time, she was met with the empty hallway. "I, Anise, bear witness that there is no deity but God, and I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of God."

After saying that, Anise felt relief wash over her. While she would need to fill out the proper documentation, that didn't matter to the couple.

"Now, are you ready to take the next step?" Dana inquired and got a nod from her girlfriend. Excitement brimming forth, it felt quite good.
