Chapter 6 by Jizzrar Jizzrar

Plan of Attack?

Shadows Are Key

Thinking about some stealth operations, you figure that while they were distracted with the Goblins, you could sneak to the back and give them a battle on two fronts. Maybe even take out either the Elf or the Human.

Settling on this, you leave the Goblins to their fate in the midst of the onslaught. You slide to the side of the pillars opposite of the battle and slink in the shadows...this plan was surely fool-proof.

However, as you were sneaking, the Human had spotted you. Since he was mostly just lazily picking off ranged units and some other Goblins before they hit the Dwarf, he was the most observant of the group. And one as observant as him could not miss a huge hulking mass of an Orc sneaking by.

Smirking at your natural lack of finesse, he notched two arrows at once and flew them at you. One hit you in the hip, the fine point going between the chainmail, and the other hit your hand. Letting out a pained shout, you accidentally drop your weapon, the arrow at the hand only stunning it not really damaging it, and tried to remove the arrow embedded in your side.

As you do so, an exposed part of your face, your eyes, became easily seen by the expert marksman. Without effort, he notched another arrow, carefully aimed...

And the arrow had embedded itself into your eye, past your bundles of optical nerves, and straight into brain matter. In a instant, the few minutes of life you had enjoyed were extinguished as you plopped on the ground...dead...

BAD END - Sneaking would be great if you were...ya know...sneaky
