Shadow her

You call Riley Industries to find out where Carmen Riley's office is and to make sure she's going to be there, but you don't make an appointment to see her. You want to find out more before revealing yourself to her. It's still early in the day, so you go out for lunch by yourself, then return to the office to plot your approach to Carmen, before taking a brief nap.

You wake up when it's nearly the end of the work day, and you decide to put your plan into motion. First, you teleport back to the mansion to change into more casual clothes, namely a t-shirt and jeans for better mobility. Then, you activate your invisibility ring and teleport to the Riley Industries corporate headquarters.

The building is a pretty standard skyscraper in New York City, and in your unseen state, you easily make your way through security and up to the 24th floor where Carmen's office is. When you exit the elevator, you roam around until you find her office. You notice a cute young woman who looks like she's barely out of college, sitting in a cubicle about 10 feet away from Carmen's closed door. It's pretty quiet in this part of the office floor and you see that all of the cubicles around are empty. The name plate on the cubicle says "Dina Hart, Executive Assistant."

You can't look into the office and you're stuck outside, unsure if Carmen is even inside. You stand there for a moment, pondering the situation. After considering a few options, you decide to take a risk and knock on the door softly, twice. Dina the assistant looks up from her desk at the door in curiosity, wondering if she had misheard a knock. The next second, the door swings open, and Carmen steps out with a confused look on her face. She's dressed differently from the last time you'd seen her of course, professionally attired in a pink blouse and black pinstripe pencil skirt that goes down to just below her knees, instead of her ninja outfit.

"Did you knock?" she asks her assistant.

"No. I heard it too, but I've been at my desk and there's nobody around."

"Weird," Carmen remarks with furrowed eyebrows as her eyes dart around the area. You take the opportunity to sneak by her, barely missing grazing her, though her sweet perfume fills your nostrils. She shrugs and re-enters her office, as you take a seat on the couch inside. She gets back behind her desk and resumes doing her work, and you just sit there in silence, watching her.

About an hour goes by before Dina knocks on the door and enters, asking if Carmen needs anything. The supervisor politely thanks her assistant and says no, before letting Dina know she can go home for the day. You're relieved that your time of sitting still and quietly might be over, but Carmen doesn't appear to intend on leaving any time soon. It's hard to stay like that for you, and already you've thought of a dozens of ways to use the powers of your magic rings on Carmen, but you resist the urge. You wish one of your rings would allow you to speed up time.

You even consider taking a nap or going somewhere else and returning later, but you don't want to lose track of Carmen's whereabouts, so you soldier on. She keeps working, or at least you assume she's working, behind her desk, until it gets pretty late. By the time she finally gets up from her desk and looks like she's ready to leave, you've spent 3 hours there and it's dark outside. She pulls out a gym bag from under her desk, then heads for the door. You follow 2 steps behind her with your phone out to document her evening, into the elevator and out the building and into the streets. Carmen keeps walking for a while, further away from the city center, to less safe and poorly lit neighborhoods. She finds a dark alley, where, after she makes sure that nobody is around, she starts to take her clothes off, unaware of your presence. She strips down to her underwear, a plain, black lingerie set that still looks incredibly sexy, before retrieving her ninja outfit from the gym bag. You capture everything on your camera, using a combination of photo stills and video. A few seconds more, and her transformation into the masked vigilante is complete, as she tucks the gym bag behind a dumpster and heads to the nearest fire escape, climbing up the stairs with great agility. You try to follow her exactly at first, before giving up and just using your teleportation ring to keep up.

Carmen climbs onto the roof of the relatively short building, jumping from that rooftop to another, then another, constantly on the lookout for crime below. It's a while before she spots something, a snatch and grab involving 2 teenagers and an fragile old lady. You thought she was going to swoop down immediately and stop them, but instead she trails them from the rooftops, until they disappear into an alley not far from the scene of the crime. Then, in the darkness, she leaps and bounds down and attacks them, delivering swift kicks and punches that they didn't even see coming. By the time you teleport down there, both teenagers are knocked out and Carmen has the old lady's purse. She uses their jackets to bind them tight, before returning to the rooftop and where she had seen the crime take place. The old lady is still where she was, crying for help but no police officers are nearby to respond. She's surprised when her purse is thrown to her from the roof, and when she looks up, Carmen is already gone. Even you nearly lose sight of her as she makes her quick departure, but you manage to catch up.

This goes on for the next few hours, as Carmen continues her crusade until the wee hours of the morning. By the end, when she returns to the dumpster for her clothes, you're exhausted just from tailing and documenting her exploits. By your count, she's stopped around 6-8 crimes that night, and you have it all captured on your phone. As Carmen changes back into her normal clothes, you rub your eyes and teleport home to the mansion, deactivate your invisibility ring, and collapse onto your bed.
