Settling in

You lead Buchi to your hammock in the ship. She seems confused by it at first, so you climb in to show her how it's done. Now that you're laying in it, you realize how small it is to try and fit two people in. You get back out and motion for her to try. Slowly, she tries to get into it, having trouble keeping it steady as it swing from her movements. That's when you get an idea. Coming from behind, you effortlessly scoop Buchi up in your strong arms. She looks up at you as you hold her, shocked either by the surprise, your strength, or both. Gently, you lay her inside the cloth. You've had the luxury of privacy so far since most of the crew are still wandering around Lagos on leave or working, but the ship doesn't have any private quarters other than the captain's. You hammock is at the far end of the communal area, but the awkwardness of the situation will only be compounded later.

For now, you just try to climb into the hammock with her and figure out if this sleeping arrangement will work. The drooping cloth sinks in the center, raised up at each end by its ties. It's difficult, and Buchi seems to mind, but you manage to make it inside, stretching the hammock more wide and shallow compared to normal. You're surprised by how strongly your feelings for Buchi have resurged. After buying her you mostly felt shame and regret, almost forgetting the momentary impulse that led you to your choice in the first place. But now that you're in bed (sort of) with the alluring African, skin pressed against hers, that feeling is back tenfold.

You look at Buchi, who watches you curiously. You move your hand to rub her smooth thigh cautiously, and she reacts minimally. You can feel your drawers tightening as you run your hand further up her leg, going under her grass skirt. Buchi is passive, neither encouraging nor discouraging your behavior. It is likely she expected something like...this. Soon enough, the ship will be full of bawdy sailors again, and any privacy you had will be gone. If there was any time, now is that time. But is this something you can really bring yourself to do?
