Settling in for night 1.

"Ahhhh...." Carey sighed, as she relaxed into the comfy cushioning of the office chair that was positioned in the midst of three separate monitors. Carey slung her bag off her shoulder, before unzipping the top compartment and sliding a water bottle and snacks out onto the table. "Well, lets figure out how all this works..." Carey said, tying her brunnette hair into a ponytail that stopped just past her neck. Carey began navigating the cameras, comparing them to the map and confirming that the map told her where in the park each camera could see. Of course, other than a squirrel, Carey was not able to find any breathing thing within the park. She then spent a few minutes exploring the park computer's programs out of curiosity, and was surprised to find the computer had internet access. Carey couldn't help but think about how lucky she was to score a job where she had internet, and a decent computer all to herself, in exchange for checking cameras every thirty minutes.

Carey couldn't resist the urge to watch some shows she had fallen behind on, and began to binge watch the remainder of a series she had fallen behind on, taking a few minutes every half hour to check all the cameras before resuming her indulging. But it was an hour and a half later when something seemed awry on the footage. When she moved her view over to the camera pointing at 'Round' the USA' (a slow water ride that wound through several exhibits that showed various american monuments and attractions). The lights were on, the ride was whirring with life, and the water could even be seen moving from the camera's angle. Carey couldn't help raising an eyebrow, since not only was the ride in a close portion of the park, but she specifically recalled the manager telling her it had been shut down for a little over 2 years.

Carey continued to watch the screen, and even offered a glance across the small lake towards the ride's position, confirming it was not just a bad camera via the bright lights shining from the ride's action. She briefly considered if it was technically her job to investigate, but remembered her boss's advice to ignore the activated rides. She chuckled to herself, having resolved to resume her episode. But just as she was about to click off, two figures slunk across the walkway and over the closed sign of the ride, too fast for Carey to fully grasp what exactly happened. While before it was very much not her job, now it absolutely was. Two mysterious figures were sneaking onto the ride, and it was specifically mentioned that she had to tell any trespassers off, or call the cops if she felt unsafe.
