Settled in

Within a few days, Helja and Hayley are settled in, and it feels like they were always meant to be part of the household. Helja and Lylah become fast friends, discovering a shared love of cooking. Everyone agrees that you’re eating better than ever, and the odd duo of wolf girl and dwarf beam with happiness as each new dish is devoured.

Meanwhile, Hayley has found a kindred spirit in Aisha, the two redheads sharing a teasing, sarcastic sense of humor. It definitely takes no time at all for them to bond, and their shared amusement towards life in general extends towards Naia’s continued youthful exuberance. The raptor sisters seem to accept Hayley like a long lost sister, though their already unusual relationship makes that much less innocent than it sounds.

As for yourself, you find yourself a bit overwhelmed. Before you came to the old world, you weren’t exactly a loner, but you certainly never had the level of attention you’ve received in the dwarven city. It’s not a bad thing, it’s simply more than you expected. The girls seem to understand, and other than Naia’s occasional outbursts, they generally keep things low key.

After a few days, Marin and Sanni come to visit, one last day of relaxing before heading back to the workshop. Naia attaches herself to the tiger girl, which amuses Marin to no end. Being a bit older, Marin is amused by Naia’s energetic excitement, but is happy to have fun with the raptor girl, seemingly feeling younger herself around her.

Sanni, meanwhile, seems infatuated with you, staying close, holding your hand, and finding excuses to join whatever you’re doing. The olive skinned lamia is clearly holding herself back, since the smoldering looks she gives you on occasion tells the story all too obviously. You admire her willpower, and make sure she gets your full attention whenever she’s close.

By the end of the day, everyone is relaxed and ready for the next day, although Sanni makes it clear that you’ll be working with her first thing. Hayley and Marin share an amused look, and even Helja chuckles. You simply smile and ensure her that you’re looking forward to it.
