Settle Down Pt 3

Walt watched Penny and Senko having a lively conversation. She had been waiting for them by the truck and had asked to come along.

Walt stepped back to look at his work happily. He had simplified like Senko had requested. It wouldn't take long at all at this rate. But he enjoyed doing this himself.

He went to join the two ladies.

"... and that's how I came up with my ideas and plan!" Penny tells Senko.

Senko is blushing but smiling. "You're a very good girl, Penny! You'd make a amazing fox, you know! It's an attractive offer... I will certainly think about your very kind offer, dear!"

Penny hugs Senko. "Even if you don't take it, I like you and Walter does too! I want to be friends with you!"

Senko smiles and hugs her back. "You're very sweet and I feel the same way, deary. Let's be good friends, Penny!"

Walt smiles it makes him happy to see them getting along. "Hello ladies. I'm just finishing up for the morning. What do you think so far, Senko?"

Senko blushes but smiles at Walter wagging her tail. She looks at his progress. "It's going up so quickly! You are a very hard worker. I'm impressed!"

Penny giggles. "That's Walter. He's always working even though he's supposed to be retired."

Walt rubs the back if his neck embarrassed. "That's "semi-retired", Penny. I doubt I can ever actually retire. The business is too large. I learned a long time ago that the reward for a job well done is usually more work." He gestures towards the structure. "Besides I actually enjoy doing things like this. I'd hardly consider it work... hobby or intrest, perhaps? Either way, it's important to do it because it makes Senko happy."

They both smile and nod and pull him down to sit between them.

"That's just a part of what makes you the wonderful person you are, Master." Penny said wrapping her arm around him and laying her head on his shoulder.

Senko does the same while patting his instead. "Such a good boy!"

Walt blushes... but he's happy! It might be embarrassing but it's not bad to be appreciated like he appreciated them. "Thank you both."

Senko looks at Penny who nods. "You're very welcome!" She gently pulled him down so his head lay in her lap while Senko starts feeding him, her tail wagging happily! She finally got her chance to pamper him just like she asked Penny for! He blushes but accepts. He could see it made them both happy and it made him happy too. This was also good.

"We can still escape!"

Baroness, Demona and Pirotess have their arms crossed and are shaking their heads at Mystique.

"There's no escape for anyone with you along," Anastasia stated.

"You heard him," Pirotess said. "He can track you anywhere. Those drones are out there watching your every move now."

"I should thank you," Demona says. "The other day I had briefly considered doing something like you did and decided against it. Now I see that was the correct decision. He's not to be underestimated nor trifled with. You were a fool to do so."

Mystique's anger rises and she's... and then the pain starts again bringing her to her knees.

All three look at her and sigh. Pirotess leaves as does Anastasia. Demona shakes her head. "You were thinking about striking me for telling you the truth. I actually take no pleasure in telling you this or your situation. But like my curse, you now need to figure out how best to live with your situation. Like it or not the reality is things are different for you now, human." She leaves her there also.

Mystique sits there stunned as someone walks over. "Here let me help you up," Sasha says extending her hand.

Mystique goes to push it away and the pain starts again! She had wanted to slap Sasha's hand away.

Sasha realizes and sighs... but she helps her up anyway and sets Mystique on her bunk before she too leaves the bunkhouse. Aela and Lydia also leave to join Sasha and give Mystique sometime alone.

(("The ladies appointment is in an hour, Ahnassi."))

Ahnassi nods as she places her bookmark. She looks up and Blake holds up her thumb. She'll stop in a bit.

Ahnassi stands and quietly clears her throat. "Ahnassi wish to remind ladies that appointment is in an hour."

She sees Glynda, Raven and Serana nod their understanding as she leaves the library.

"Wow," says Pyrrha as Lydia and Aela join her in clapping for Willow's performance. "I didn't know you could dance like that!"

"Thank you," Willow bows. "When you and Ahnassi said there was a space like this in the gymnasium I thought about trying, even though I haven't done it in years. Walter said it was time to start trying to do things for myself so I wondered if I still could."

She didn't mention she was looking for something to do other than drink. This might be her chance to change or return to something like normal. "I did ballet when I was little and then again with my girls until they lost interest. Winter was more interested in dueling than dance and Weiss singing. After the experiences dancing in the club I wondered if my balance had returned enough."

"Ah! Interesting," said Lydia thinking.

Aela also nodded. "You as well? I see... I hadn't thought if there were practical applications for those skills..."

Pyrrha was confused. "What skills?"

Willow blushed. "The club made several of us learn to do "exotic" dancing. I take it you ladies did as well?"

Aela nodded and Lydia added,"Our pig of an owner insisted on it... but now you make me wonder if there might be value in it?"

Pyrrha is excited. She liked dancing! "We had a small party a little while ago and Walter, Neo, Sienna and Kali had some moves I'd never seen! I'd like to learn "exotic" dancing if you ladies will teach me? Oh, hang on a moment."

Pyrrha gets a reminder from Friday while the others discuss if they should actually teach her or not whispering about "poles" and "strip" and other things. She looks up. "Sorry ladies. Appointment is in an hour or so. Let's hit the showers and you all can tell me more!"

(("The furniture is being delivered and the appointment for the other ladies is in an hour, Lita."))

"Thank you, Friday," she says looking up at Kali and Penny who both nod. They had received notice too.

(("You're very welcome, Lita."))

Lita claps her hands. "Ladies the appointment is in an hour. Let's finish up what we're working on!"

Kali nods. "Speak up if you need a hand and help out where you can!"

Senko, Haruna and Haruhime nod their understanding. Sayoko and Roberta do too where they're assisting Penny.

Penny takes her last batch of cookies out of the oven. "I'm going to leave these here to cool," she says taking off her apron. There seem to be a few less cookies to her eyes. "How curious. I seem to have miscalculated again... I'll have to think about it later. Well it's still a lot! Plenty for everyone! I am going to go join Walt!"

Roberta and Sayoko curtsied as Penny goes by not noticing the two hands sneaking in the window for another cookie that Sayoko and Roberta now slap with spatulas.

"Ouch!" And "Owwie!" Says Sasha and Ilulu.

"Please gather the other bunkhouse ladies, Ms Sasha and Ms Ilulu," Sayoko said.

"Sí." Said Roberta. "If you do a good job we will consider not deducting the cookies from your snack allotments."

"OK!" They both say from under the window while everyone else laughs. They'd all already figured out those two were good workers who were easily bribed with food.

Walt sighs. Friday alerted him that Mystique had set off the "attitude adjuster" again. She was going to be quite the project.

He watched the delivery transport arrive. That would be the new bed and another familiar vehicle behind that one.

He looked at Tsuyu who was sitting with him on the porch going over her new phone. He had given them to the new ladies earlier. "I know what the experts say, but I want to hear it from you. You're sure you feel fine, Tsu?"

Tsuyu smiled. He might be between a "hero" and a "villain" but he was a good friend so far and he definitely cared about her. "Yup. I'm as good as new! Ribbit."

Walt smiled too. "Alright then. I'm glad to hear it." He looked up as Neo came out the door wearing her usual outfit and did a spin for him. He chuckled. "You're always lovely Neo my dear. You're sure about this?"

Neo nods and holds up her phone. [100%]

Walt nodded. "Alright." He gave her a kiss. "Friday?"

(("All teams are ready and standing by, Boss."))

Walt rolled his eyes picturing it. "I bet everyone is excited about today and tomorrow too." He sighed but then she came out the door.

She was just wearing a variation of her standard outfit too like Neo but she also looked lovely! He noticed she'd been wearing silvery grey armbands and neck collars lately. Today it was... He gave Penny a kiss. "You look lovely. Is that a new hair ribbon? I noticed it earlier."

Penny blushed but nodded. "It is! I decided I like quite like this color!" She returned a thumbs-up from Neo.

Walter blinked. Neo's neck kerchief was more a lighter silver grey too. "Oh, I see! You two want to match!" Neo looks like she's mildly irritated so he kisses her too. "I think you're lovely as well, Neo dear."

Neo rolled her eyes at him so he knew he'd missed something but she seemed happier so he turns back to Penny. "Thank you for this by the way."

Penny beamed. "Of course Walter! They need help too, just like you did for us. Plus it'll be so nice to see them again!" They watched the movers unload the cargo. "Is that the new bed?" Penny asked excited. "It looks big!"

Neo wiggled her eyebrows and laughed silently. Walt blushed and nodded. "It's big alright. Friday may have overdone it a bit..." He'd already moved the old bed out and moved the rest of the furniture around too. The monstrosity they were unloading was going to dominate the previously spacious master bedroom.

Pyrrha, Sienna, Ahnassi and Lita had come out as well and he gave all of them a kiss too.

"How many does that thing sleep, Master Walter?" Lita asked.

Walt blushed. "A lot." They all looked at him excited and he nodded embarrassed. "But ladies..." he cleared his throat. "Just because it "can", doesn't mean that we "should". I'd like to be able to actually sleep on occasion..."

Ahnassi purrs. "Ahnassi thinks if Walter wanted that he'd have kept the old bed, yes? Does the emperor know his bed has been stolen?"

Sienna blushed but laughed. "Climbing in one side and out the other might be quite the trip!"

Walt sighed and nodded. They weren't wrong. He was signing the order the workman presented and Lita and Ahnassi indicated they'd show the movers where it goes when the next vehicle pulled up and four familiar people got out.

"I think they can see that thing from space!" Deadpool said. No one disagreed.

Walt shook their hands. "Ms Tiffany, E, Rarity, Wade... good to see you all again. Thank you for fitting us into your schedule and coming on a weekend."

"Likewise Mr Stark!" Ms Tiffany smiled. "It was a pleasure to receive your call. I'm sorry that this was the only time we had that would work with such a large group. I understand that you would like the same service again?"

Walt nodded. "That's right. The exact same services for a larger group. The original girls will gladly assist with the process and one of the news ladies is a seamstress as well and may be of some help to you all."

"I see!" Ms Tiffany smiled smelling another huge sale. Her team looked excited too! "And how much bigger of a group?"

Walt grinned. "More than double. Eighteen in all. Technically more as there are some that have alternative forms so they'll need a separate fitting for those. You'll have to stay until after sunset for one of them... there's another as well but she's under punishment and may not want to join in because she is sulking. That's fine by me if she wants to opt out of the other stuff but she still needs the basics. If she gives you any trouble let my AI Friday know for a override and she'll see to it. Penny is my proxy and she, Kali and Lita this time have the power to veto."

Ms Tiffany looked like she needed a moment contemplating a sale more than two and a half times as big as the last one. He looked at Deadpool. "Sorry we can't hang out this time. Penny made you cookies though!"

Penny smiled. "I did! I made enough for everyone! Please take some home with you!"

Deadpool laughs and holds up a paper sack. "Thank you! I got your message, Walt. I brought a lunch and a book... a coloring book! With crayons!"

Walt laughs too! "Good thinking!" He gestured to them and addressed the 3S agents. "Make sure they're treated as guests. Assist Deadpool. Keep them all safe. Weekend bonus is authorized."

There's a chorus of "Yes, Boss!"

He turns to Neo and takes off his hat, bows and offers her his arm. "Shall we?"

Neo smiles and nods taking his arm, waving to everyone. They get into their vehicle and drive away.
