Setting Sail

The next morning, Amelia descended the stairs to the hotel lobby, where she found Sophie and Dane already waiting. Sophie looked effortlessly chic in a thin white shirt that clung to her curves, a wide-brimmed beach hat, and loose, baggy pants. Dane, on the other hand, exuded rugged charm in khaki shorts and a sleeveless top that highlighted his muscular arms.

Amelia had chosen a yellow button-up shirt, leaving the top few buttons undone to reveal a tasteful amount of cleavage. She paired it with white shorts and a pair of comfortable sandals. She felt confident and ready for the day ahead.

"Morning, Amelia," Dane greeted her with a smile. "Ready for a day of relaxation?"

"Absolutely," Amelia replied, returning his smile. She noticed Sophie giving her a friendly nod, her eyes hidden behind stylish sunglasses.

After a leisurely breakfast, the trio made their way to the dock where Dane had rented a boat. As they approached, Amelia’s eyes widened in surprise. The boat was more like a tiny yacht, sleek and luxurious, with plenty of space for lounging and enjoying the sun.

"This is impressive," Amelia commented, her excitement growing.

Dane chuckled. "I thought we might as well enjoy the best of what Italy has to offer. Shall we?"

He took the driver's seat, expertly navigating the boat out of the marina as Amelia and Sophie found comfortable spots to sit. The morning sun cast a warm glow over the water, and the gentle breeze carried the scent of the sea. Amelia felt a sense of exhilaration as they sped across the waves, the city of Rome fading into the distance behind them.

Amelia settled into a plush seat near the front of the boat, while Sophie reclined on a sun lounger. Amelia couldn't help but notice the way Dane glanced at Sophie, his gaze lingering just a bit longer than necessary. She felt a familiar pang of curiosity and arousal but pushed it aside, focusing on the stunning scenery around them.
