Chapter 5 by SweetDepravity SweetDepravity

Follow the road to Isenvlad or ignore Worm's warning and journey to the coast?

Set off towards the coast

You scoff at the Chaun's warning, as if the creature even knows what the coast looks like. And even if there was trouble, there's little than you can't handle. Or so you think, at least. "There aren't going to be any boats that way, Worm," you coldly retort, causing the little leech to gibber in annoyance. It only takes a single raise of your brow to silence the beast, no doubt his prick still aches from his last punishment. "That's better, now let's get started." Without another word, you begin walking along the steeper path.

The signposts grow fewer as you make your way into the mountains, trees and boulders obscuring the view. Worm brings up the rear, those short legs of his weren't made for this sort of terrain. Not that it matters much to you, it's just a monster, and not even a strong one. Still, it's better than nothing, you suppose. You could have stumbled into something that not even you could control, that foul place is riddled with nightmarish wretches.

Briefly, you wonder what became of the Headmistress, if anyone else survived that crash landing, it was her. The old bird used to be quite the huntress herself, back in her day. In your opinion, she's jealous of your raw talent, which she should be. You are a Van Helsing, after all. "Headmistress Van Helsing," you mutter under your breath, adoring the very sound of the title. Already you can see yourself sitting behind that finely polished desk, the former Headmistress kneeling beneath it, your thighs firmly clamped around her head.

Just when you begin to feel the tingling of arousal, you notice just how far up you've hiked. Not only that, but Worm seems to have vanished, only to appear again several seconds later, panting heavily as he climbs into view. "Keep up, you lazy bugger!" you hiss in annoyance, you're not going to be slowed down by this creature's inadequacy. Suddenly, you find yourself wishing that you had stayed silent, as a loud snap breaks the momentary peace. You whirl around suddenly, only to discover the path ahead is empty. That means that this unseen thing must be hiding behind one of the nearby boulders.

There's definitely something out there. The problem is, you have no idea what it is, and your only defense is a bloodthirsty munchkin. Worm might not fare well in a fight, but he could at least buy you some time. Then again, you're a capable fighter yourself, even without a pint sized companion added to the mix. Of course, perhaps if you stay on the path, it might ignore you? Though even in your head that sounds like a long shot. Looking down at your smallish ****, you prepare to make your move.

Well, what move is that?
