Set in

You smiled to yourself as you felt the D-class boy's gaze on you. Initially, you found Kaya's personality confusing and you didn't really like the way they looked. But now, you're in charge.

Instead, you've come to appreciate the way they look at you as you stroll through the open courtyard behind the school.

Gradually, you've become used to controlling Kaya's personality within you. In your opinion, it's akin to flipping a light switch on and off. You can choose to turn it on, embracing the full illusion, while acting like a puppeteer behind a silent curtain. When the moment suits you, you simply switch off the light, replacing her thoughts and personality with yours. It may seem like you're possessing Kaya's body or hypnotizing her, making her dance in the palm of your hand. However, the truth is, you're role-playing your personality, fully in control. For instance, right now, your outer shell is Kaya and her entire body. But the smile on your face is yours, your true self, not Kaya's.

You walk towards the stadium and soon spot Bianca sitting alone in the stands.

There are a few students scattered across the stands. You spot some E-class students, who are athletes, practicing sports on the field. Bianca is seated alone, scrolling through her phone with her face down, her black hair shrouding her face.

As you sit down beside her, she seems oblivious to your presence. Only when you remove your bag and place it next to you does she look up and offer you a smile.

"Oh, hey... Kaya," she greets, almost calling you 'mistress' by mistake.

"Hey, Bianca, aren't you in a hurry to go home?" You ask her, scanning her expression as she casually shrugs off your question with a smile.

“I'm not in a hurry, Kaya. Actually, I was thinking of inviting you over. You mentioned that we're just getting to 'know each other', right?" she responds.

“Actually, I've gathered something about you, Bianca. A peculiar girl who doesn't have many friends. Dresses like an old-fashioned gothic girl. The girls in class C gossip that you might even be a witch. Most of the boys are scared of you due to rumors that your ex is a psychotic murderer currently undergoing treatment in a mental hospital.”

You tell her story from Kaya's memory. She's a gossipmonger, which makes you privy to the entire school's rumors, maybe even the whole city's. Bianca smiles, a somewhat unwelcoming smile, before responding.

“Ah, so you've been digging around. I’d love to learn more about you, too. Yes, the boys in this school are scared of me because of those crazy rumors. But truthfully, I started those rumors myself. I was tired of the chicks who'd come to flirt with me. As for the girls who gossip about me, that's half true. But only half, darling," she tells you, holding up her phone and continuing to scroll.

“Half true?” You echo her words.

"My mother is a believer in witchcraft. She believes in rituals that will keep her forever young, immortal, eternally youthful.

When I was little, I almost believed my mother was a witch. But she's just a fanatic, believing in things she doesn't fully understand. But now, I'm not sure if what she believes will come true or not. Until I met you, Kaya, in the restroom, with thoughts and knowledge I couldn't place.

And you exude such confidence. Maybe what my mother believed could be true, who knows, even she doesn't.” She rubs her nose and you listen, looking at her pale face, freckles scattering across her cheeks, her pale green eyes staring back at you. Then she asks a question that takes you aback.

“So, do you like me?” Bianca asks. You try to mask your feelings with Kaya's personality, but it's too late when you see her smile and her cheeks flush.

"No, I just... I just met you. Besides, I'm your mistress. I'm merely interested in my subjects, well... that's all," you stammer, but she leans closer to you, so close that you can smell her perfume.

"So, you're saying you're interested in me?" she persists.

"No, Bianca, I'm not-" You try to maintain a nonchalant demeanor as you glance around, hoping no one has noticed either of you. But she continues to push you.

"Or... Do you want to possess me? Instead of Kaya?” Her seductive tone makes you swallow hard. The offer is tempting, but you try to remain composed and gently push her away. Taking a deep breath to calm yourself, you reply,

"I... well, I'm intrigued by your offer. But... cough... I need to keep my wits about me right now. I need to know who's watching me. I mean... I feel like someone's watching Lasse. I want to use Kaya's body to observe. Or maybe I'm just watching out for myself to see if someone's trying to kidnap me. She knew this town and school well. She must have noticed something, so I need to use her body now. But you, you're interesting. You... ugh... yes, you." You swallow hard, failing to fully bring Kaya's personality to the surface. Then Bianca asks you,

"Me? You think I'm...?” She repeats your words, her voice a mixture of seduction and playfulness.

“Yes, you're... pretty. Okay, I admit, you're damn beautiful, you're charming, I'm interested in you as well as the idea of possessing your body. But I... I want you to be my mentor and help me observe. Is that clear? ”

You nearly shout, suddenly feeling a warmth rush to your cheeks and ears. Bianca leans back, smiling slyly.

"Oh darling, you don't have to shout to get my attention. I'm here, and I'm on your side. Remember?

As long as you ask, I'm willing to help with all my heart. But it's a pity that you're not possessing me. This is better for me in the long run, though.” She lightly touches your shoulder, making your heart race. But this time, you manage to summon Kaya's personality, smiling at her the way Kaya would with her friends.

"Oh, thank you, Bianca. I appreciate your help. I'm sorry that I can't fulfill your request right now, but maybe next time," you reply. Bianca crosses her arms and stands up, looking down at you.

"Huh? You're pretty good at playing the innocent girl, darling. How envious I am of Kaya,” she mutters, starting to walk down the stands.

“I think I've gotten myself worked up again thinking of you. I think it would be best if I go home now and think about you there. One more thing.” She points to her clothes.

“I still have something of yours here. It will make sure I don't forget you until you're ready, my dear.” She quickly walks down the stands and leaves you there, oblivious to the pair of eyes watching you from afar.
