what surprises does this strange island and this unusual professor pokemon have in store for you?

Set an alarm clock and go early to the meeting the next day

As you arrive at dawn, you seem to be the first to arrive. The Professor opens the door to her large bay window that overlooks the ocean, she seems to have recently got up.

"Last but not least, here comes Lyra, a shy but competent trainer. Say hello to this trainer Lyra!" asks the Professor

"He-hello" she says with a small smile.

"well, the others are late, too bad: we'll start without them! I have brought you together to investigate mysterious phenomena on this island. But before telling you more, given the dangerousness of the pokemons here, and the complexity of the mission, I ask you to pair up! Choose well, you're going to have adventures together for a while!" said the Professor enthusiastically.
