Set Sail

With Emerald under her wing and now provided the means to continue her journey Cinder and her companion make their way towards the docks. As they are walking Cinder is subjected to all manners of looks, the majority of which are disgruntled parents covering their children's eyes from looking at the naked woman who showed no concern toward their grief while the rest of the stares are met with whistles and catcalls. While Emerald wanted to teach those bastards a lesson, she knew both she and Cinder wanted to leave Vacuo on a high note. In the end, she decided to just bear with it and focus her attention somewhere else, like how today was probably the hottest to date in Vacuo judging by how everyone was sweating. While other times she'd complain about the heat this time however it proved to be more enjoyable thanks to her naked companion right beside her with sweat running down the curves of her body.

Cinder: Emerald?

Emerald: ...

Cinder: EMERALD!

Emerald: Huh?

Cinder: Were you not listening to what I was saying?

Emerald: O-Of course I was! I just was...uh?

Cinder: Just what?

Emerald: Just keeping an eye out for any who might want to attack us! After what happened yesterday, I guess I'm feeling a bit paranoid is all! (Please let her buy it!)

Cinder: I can understand having lived here for so long you'd be a bit tense especially when you could be attacked at any given moment, but rest assured no one is going to attack us now.

Cinder: I'm starting to believe you're more in need of this cruise than I originally thought.

Emerald: Yeah, I guess so. Anyway, how long will this trip last?

Cinder: Perhaps a week at least maybe two weeks at most depending on the weather. Anyway, while I did say it was heading to Vale its actual destination is Mistral but won't be staying here for long. Only once the ship docks at one of the port towns close to Vale will we get off.

Cinder: Here see for yourself.

Emerald: At the very least it gets us close to where we need to go and that still leaves us with plenty of time to just enjoy ourselves.

Cinder: Precisely, now take a look that's the ship over there start preparing the tickets.

Emerald: Gotcha.

When they arrive at the ship a man standing next to the gangplank looks to Cinder and smiles.

Crewmate: "Some steal your clothes, or do you have one of those licenses?" he says playfully.

Cinder: The latter.

Crewmate: Yeah, I figured anyway may I please see your tickets ma'am!

Emerald: Right here sir.

He inspects the tickets and gives them the go-ahead to pass.

Crewmate: Enjoy your stay on the Sea Nymph ladies!

Cinder and Emerald walk up the gangplank to the ship and take a look around to the front desk to get themselves situated for when it is time to set sail. Then with that out of the way they can explore the ship at their leisure. Once the sound of the final boarding call is made the gangplank retracts into the ship and the horn of the ship signals its departure. Little do Cinder and Emerald know there's a reason why Carmine picked this specific ship for them.
