She looked out. One of the voices came from a blue-skinned woman with light green hair, and wearing cotton clothes that seemed to be slightly heavy with absorbed liquid. That was Beatrice, an Undine, and one of her regular customers. The other was a store employee, a minotaur standing at almost seven feet tall wearing a security guard uniform. That was Kurn. Serena didn't really know him, but they'd exchanged pleasantries a few times.
"Yeah, stubbed my toe on a corner. It hurt like hell. Threw the sign up because I was in no state to talk to people," Serena thought quickly.
"Oh. Are you all right?" Beatrice asked in concern.
"Sure. Much better." Serena thought to herself: They better get fucking dressed and get out of there.
Meanwhile in the dressing room.
"Do you hear that?" Jan asked, concerned.
"You'll have to forgive me, Jan. My ears are still ringing a bit," Tasos teased, only half-joking.
"I think Serena's talking to someone," Jan said quickly.
"Oh damn! Um..I have some hand-wipes," he pulls out a couple from his pocket.
"Does Serena have a bathroom?" Jan asked, pulling up her panties and starting to take off the dress.
Tasos freezes, eyes on the sight. "..I'm sorry, but what?"
"A bathroom!" She said it quietly, but sharply. Normally she'd prefer to be taking her clothes off under different circumstances, but they didn't have time. She almost had it off and was reaching for the clothes she came in wearing.
"Yes! Yes she does." Tasos spoke quickly, but also in a quiet tone.
"Okay, if you see the people up front are business, just head for it quick. I'll stay here and finish getting dressed. I can say Serena let me finish up," Jan said, thinking on her feet. "And you can say you were..um.."
"I'll think of something," Tasos assured. "but ideally I will not be seen at all." He took a moment to admire Jan's bare bosom before she covered it with the shirt she had been wearing before. He cursed the missed chance to admire them more, but he didn't intend for it to be the only opportunity. He eased the door open a crack, saw that those at the entrance were occupied by Serena. He gave Jan a mysterious wink, and darted out, taking cover behind multiple clothes stands.
One of Kurn's ears twitched when he thought he heard a clop.
