Chapter 13 by FredWeasleyLives1 FredWeasleyLives1

What's up with Sadie's friends?

Sereena's date

Sereena's POV

I almost decided not to go on my date with my girlfriend and there is one simple reason. My roommate Sadie woke me up with a bad dream in the dead of night. I went into her room to wake her up since she is one of my best friends. My big mistake was getting my head too close to my agitated friend. Before I knew what was happening, the redhead hit me with a fierce right cross that left me loopy on the floor. The most unfortunate effect of my mistake is the dark black circle that is surrounding my right eye. I hope Aiyana is not too distracted by my ugly bruise that is more commonly known as a black eye.

There are a whole lot of reasons for me to suffer through the pain and embarrassment of my black eye. I am always excited to see Aiyana since she literally swept me off of my feet on the first time that I met her. I was in a big hurry on that day because I overslept. I never wanted to be late because of my crabby professor who was very grumpy towards all late comers. My hastiness in getting to class caused us to have a collision in front of the school fountain. When I looked up, I saw an angel that took my breath away.

This angel had brown hair and glasses. I was impressed with how forgiving and confident she was. I could not help but give her every word my full attention and everything else faded into nothingness. I do not usually have trouble speaking, but I sure did when I first saw her. I found out later that she was a TA which explained why I was so impressed with how bright she was. I have been attracted to a few women in my lesbian lifetime, but none of those woman have ever attracted me more than girlfriend Aiyana. There is a mystery about her that I want to solve even if it is the last thing I do. The only thing for me to do is to knock on the door of her dorm room and let the chips fall where they may. My darling opened the door and gave me her best shocked look.

"Has my Muffin been fighting?" Aiyana squealed while letting me into her dorm room. "Do you need my help?"

There are a lot of things that I thought that I would never ever do. Using pet names is very close to the the top of that list. I find it so demeaning. There is only one simple reason that I let Aiyana get away with it. I love her. She is way too cute for me to argue with. I even find the brown glasses that she wears hypnotizing. Her brain is what affects me the most. I want to do everything that I possibly can to make her happy so I had **** but to pick a pet name for her to avoid the risk of offending her. I picked the name Cookie just because I have seen her eat so many of them. I am impressed that she has kept her figure even after packing away so many of those delicious treats. I don't think that I could pull off that feat.

"Believe it or not, Cookie, Sadie did this to me," I explained even though I knew my steady wouldn't believe me. I don't blame her. I wouldn't believe it if someone else told it me. Sadie is one of the kindest people that I know most of the time.

"Are you trying to tell me that your roommate gave you the black eye?" Aiyana droned while giving me her best I-don't-believe-you face. "Sweet innocent Sadie? The girl next door?"

"Hey, Sadie can be a bear when she wants to be. You where there when Sadie bit off Camilla's head for hitting on her girlfriend Leah at the Gala. I was so proud of her that it almost brought a tear to my eye. You should have seen Sadie at the Clickit yacht party when she shoved her former boss into a chocolate fountain."

"Okay, I believe you," Aiyana conceded in such a way that she was still undecided as to whether or not she truly believed me. "I'll get you some ice for your eye."

I sat down on a yellow futon that was in front of the television and waited for my girlfriend to get back and take care of me. I soon saw her walk back from the kitchen while carrying a blue ice pack. Judging by the pensive look on her face, I still wasn't sure if she believed if Sadie was the one who hurt me. I really don't know what to do to convince my hot flame. Maybe I should call my roommate and ask her to verify my story.

"Here," Aiyana offered while handing me my the cold pack which I carefully held to my eye. "Your eyesight isn't blurry or anything is it?"

"No, I'm fine," I insisted.

"I'm glad," Aiyana said while sitting on her wicker chair.

"I can tell that you don't believe me," I whined.

"It is not that I don't believe you," Aiyana hedged. "Look, I don't know Sadie very well, but from what I have seen of her, I have trouble understanding how your friend could do such damage. What did you do to her to make her so angry?"

"It wasn't like that!" I cried out while waving my hands in front of me to plead my case. "She was dreaming that Leah's ex was torturing her and she was making a lot of noise. I have a soft spot for Sadie especially since she is my only roommate now that Brooke is with her husband Keo so I hurried into her room. I was shaking her a little in an effort to wake her up, but I made the stupid mistake of getting my head too close to her. The last thing that my roomie did in the dream was throwing a punch at Camilla, but she threw the punch at me in reality. I was on the floor with stars flying around my head by the time she finally woke up."

"Oh, you poor thing!" my darling squealed. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, this bruise will just take a while to heal," I mused.

"I'm so sorry that I didn't believe you!" my babe pleaded while hugging me.

"That's okay. I'm not sure that I would have believed it if it would have happened to someone else."

"Is there something that I can do to make it up to you?" Aiyana offered.

"Oh, I can think of something," I mused while pointing at my lips with my left index finger. I would have used my right hand to make the gesture if it wasn't busy holding an ice pack against my sore eye.

"If you insist," Aiyana mock grumbled while walking over to me.

I let my ice pack hit the floor as my girlfriend walked over to me. I couldn't help but get a little giddy when my darling placed her hands on the sides of my face and pressed her magic lips against mine. Her kiss almost made me forget where I was. The kiss lasted for a few seconds which was way too short for my taste and then the object of my desire stood back up.

"I appreciate you helping me campaign to get Theo elected for campus president since he is running for nature," Aiyana confided. "I know it won't be much of a date for you."

"Let's see..." I pondered while stroking my chin with one finger. "I get to spend time walking along side the most beautiful woman that I have ever seen whom I have already gotten to kiss. That sounds like a pretty good date to me."

"You get another kiss for saying those nice things to me," Aiyana promised.

"I am going to have to say them more often," I guessed while standing up to put my arms around my flaming hot steady. I had to stand on tiptoe a little bit to kiss her, but it did not matter. All rhyme or reason evaporated when the kiss happened and I went into a magic place.

Elsewhere in our little corner of the world...
