Send her home

After sending her off, I decided to get some sleep.

But sleep was slow in the coming.

Couldn't help but play things out in my head about how strange of a day today has been...

When sleep finally took me, my dreams were a mix of symbols and glowing sigils, strange curios like found in the shop all to the background of a chanting audience..

When I awoke I had no idea what to make of them.

When morning comes, the day has a chill note but the sun is shining bright.

A quick breakfast of black coffee and toast with jam is all he had time for.

This time, he didn't miss his bus. One thing he did note though, was that the store he got the strange device from seemed to simply not be there. Not as though a person blinked and missed it - the building simply wasn't there. It was a lot that had overgrown and had a 'for sale' sign that was so faded as to be almost all white.

'Hey there' Came a familiar voice from behind me. I turned around and saw Jane, the lady from the bookstore Whose sister I made into a fucktoy.. I thought to myself.

'You're the boy from the bookstore. I'm Jane!" She reached across to shake my hand. She was wearing the same sweater as the other day, but chose Jeans instead of a skirt. Her eyes I could now see, were the same as her sisters (albeit without the cum flecks in her irises).

We make our introductions and start some small talk. She asks me where I'm about and mention the mall. She's heading there too, actually works at the photography store there part time. She even asked about the books I was reading and we got chatting. "Yeah, I keep hoping for Rothfuss to release his last book" she says, surprising me. 'Me too. And Jim has been behind as well'

'Oh you have no idea how much I wanted to strangle him fo'

We both finish it, then laugh. Then coyishly she says 'Hey look, if you want to chat some more about books feel free to text me.' And gives me her number.

We both get off the bus and split off in the mall. I can't help but shake my head at my luck..
