Semblance Problems

Over the past few months, Ruby has been working on improving her abilities, one of which happens to have gone through a bit of an evolution, that being her semblance "Petal Burst" or what others commonly call speed since it gives her incredible bursts of speed whenever Ruby uses it. Not only that but it has even been capable of creating a tailspin strong enough to lift people off the ground which comes in handy in team attacks. However, due to recent events that are completely out of her control; Ruby has had to avoid using her semblance lately because of its sudden increase in speed to the point that even her teammates are left to wonder why. As for why she's refusing to use it well...
