Know you two had to find somebody to sell her to. You asked her if she wanted to be sold to somebody they knew or to a stranger. After weeks of going through potential candidates they decided on three of there friends with would have the chance to buy her in an auction. So they went to each on of them and told theme about it each one of theme though that they were pulling a prank on them and that they were making fun of them. But after a while every one believed them and they agreed to meet in a week for the auction.
