Self checkout

Your mom pulls the cart into a self checkout and you sigh with relief, but she just stands there.

"...?"

She then gestures with her eyes for you to scan everything. Rolling your eyes, you go up to the cart and... stop. You can't remain covering yourself if you are checking out and scanning items. After that brief pause though, you steel your resolve, release your hands from covering yourself and start scanning everything. You guys didn't get much so it doesn't take long. You eventually scan eveeything and reach your hand out for your mom's credit card.
