Selene goes to Krissy that night

In the hushed stillness of the apartment, Krissy was deep in the throes of an uneasy dream. The world around her was an incoherent blend of her past and the fears of her current situation. Trying to gather her wits, Krissy responded, "I was sleeping. Is there something you need?"

Selene moved closer, sitting on the edge of the bed, her gaze never leaving Krissy's. "It's more about what you need, my dear. You're in my world now. A world filled with opportunities, but also with dangers."

Swallowing hard, Krissy felt cornered. "What are you talking about? What's going on," she asked, trying to gather her thoughts, fighting the confusion of sleep and the ****.

Selene chuckled softly, a sound that seemed more menacing than joyous. "That's what they all say. But in this city, everyone needs a protector. Someone to guide them, to show them the ropes. And whether you like it or not, that's me."

Selene's hand drifted slowly down from the young girl's face and under her nightgown to caress one of her breasts as she smiled down at Krissy.

"That is a valuable thing, Krissy. What will you give me in return?" Selene said, staring at the girl as she moved her hands away from Krissy's breast and pulled the sheets away from the girl, exposing her shapely body to the cool air.
