See what's going on at the bar.

Katie strolled up to the counter and eyed the four women who were having a conversation there. The one on the left was much taller than the other three; she wore a black ball cap on top of her long brown hair, which went halfway down her back to the middle of the white tank top she was wearing. Her denim shorts left her long, thick, dark-skinned legs revealed, with a pair of Chuck Taylor's on her feet. To her right was a much shorter red haired woman wearing a thin mint button-up and black slacks, which accentuated her figure. Next was a woman with her black hair in a messy bun, a slender frame in a flower patterned sundress, and some comfortable sneakers. The final woman had bright blue hair with green highlights in a short bob style covering a pale but bright face; her hourglass figure was covered only by a tube top and tight leggings that went to her shins. The entire group was excitedly chatting while sipping on some cocktails.

As Katie got to the seat next to the tall one on the left, the bartender came up to her and in a resonating baritone, they asked, "What can I get for you tonight?"

"I'll have a long island for now," Katie said. The bartender nodded, then got to work on the drink. Katie got to work with the lady next to her.

"Hey there, are you all from around here?" she asked. The tall woman turned to face Katie, giving her a good look at her large, gorgeous brown eyes. At first, those eyes had a scrutinizing look, but after Katie felt her new ring vibrate slightly, the woman's expression softened.

"We're in town for a concert, but that's tomorrow. I'm Haley, what's your name cutie?" Now Haley was giving Katie her full attention, as were the rest of her group. Everyone at the bar started to look up and down Katie.

"I'm Katie," she giggled out. A slight sense of lightheadedness returned momentarily but left just as quickly. The bartender put a drink in front of her.

"Do you want to start a tab?" they asked.

"Nah, think that I'll just drink for free tonight. These ladies too." Katie gave her best smile to the bartender, and her ring vibrated again.

"Of course, let me know if you need anything else." The bartender smiled back, and went about their duties. Katie took a sip of her long island, then turned back towards her new entourage.
