Second Person POV

First Person and Third Person both have their merits in writing. But there is one more option, that is especially interesting in a lewd choose-your-own-adventure context: Second Person.

Let’s compare the previous tip example with 2nd person perspective:

1st:

My heart races as I climb on top of Ria's glistening frame. Her dark eyes shimmer in the glow of the bedroom light and draw me closer. Ria's plum-painted lips part for a moment before she whispers breathly into my ear. "Fuck me."

2nd:

Your heart races as you climb on top of Ria’s glistening frame. Her dark eyes shimmer in the glow of the bedroom light and draw you closer. Ria’s plum-painted lips part for a moment before she whispers breathly into your ear. “Fuck me.”

In erotica, 2nd-person perspective is especially powerful, and if done well, it can absolutely pull the reader into the story. It is not a type of perspective that I would suggest using in non-lewd context, but here it works phenomenally well.
