Search for supplies

You leave the room and look for resources. Cassie's crying becomes quieter with each step you take away from them.

In the pharmacy storage room you search through the boxes. Some of them are still unopened and the cupboards are still full.

Lucky, you think to yourself. Pharmacies and hospitals are usually looted quite early, but this one seems to have been spared.

You pick through some of the boxes and collect anything that seems useful.

Antibiotics, aspirin and painkillers are the first things you take in large amounts. These medicines are not only important for your own use. Should you later come across other groups who have not gone mad, they might trade them.

Your eyes then fall on a medicine you know only too well. On a shelf, a little further back in the warehouse, there were numerous **** for the prevention of conception. You think about when you took yours last and to be honest... You have no idea.

There were simply more important things at the moment than looking at your watch and remembering to take that stupid thing every day.

But taking it with you can't hurt. You're thinking of Dorothy. She was doing it regularly with Ritter, after all. And the last thing you want is for her to give birth to another screaming child. Unnecessary noise has to be avoided as much as possible.

You grab four packs at once.

Time to go back and check on Ritter and Cassie.
