Screw it, finish what you started.. Whats the worst that could happen..

You shrug you shoulders.. "What could possibly happen", you think to yourself as you reach back down, slowly tracing your finer over the symbol from beginning to end. As you finish, the symbol flares a brilliant blue, and a strange tingling sensation comes over you. As the glow dies down from the rune, the page begins to break apart and flake away.. "Oh great, this thing is so old its falling apart.. It definitely wont be worth anything now"...

You lean down and blow on the book, scattering the small flakes of the page into the air.. You look down at the next page, which of course has another, similar symbol.. You've already messed up the book now, so you really dont have anything to lose by finishing the book.. "Besides, I kind of enjoyed that feeling I got after that first page", you think as you reach down to trace a finger over the lines on the page.

One by one you go through the entire book.. Finishing the last page, all that remains of it are the front and back cover, all of the pages broke apart just as the first one. Feeling a little lightheaded, you loom down at your watch which reads "3:00 PM". You make your way the bathroom and take a quick shower. Changing into some more comfortable clothes, you try to decide what to do next..
