[Author's note - on this the 400th something chapter and my five hundred something written so far in the last year and some odd days I just wanted to say a quick thank you.

Thank you, the readers, for coming along with me this far. I may have slowed down a bit as my life and health have picked back up but I still try to publish several chapters each week. There's a lot more to come so here's to the next year and the continuing story! I hope you'll keep looking forward to it and enjoy!

"Well that's a bit of a surprise."

Walt shrugged then smiled as he put his arm around Penny they watched Zwei meeting Murderface.

Murderface upon arriving had immediately settled himself infront of the fireplace, in Sienna's favorite spot Walt noted, and closed his eyes. Zwei had come in the room and barked once and Murderface... barely moved, twitching only his tail. Zwei had promptly circled him three times and seeing no reaction from the big cat had layed down next to him.

And Murderface hadn't seemed to care at all. Not even when Zwei inched closer and then rolled so he was belly up immediately next to the cat. In moments Zwei was snoring cutely as Murderface purred. Two peas in a pod. "Welcome home," Walt said. He paused looking around. "It's quiet. Where is everyone?"

Penny smiled leaning her head on his shoulder. "Playing with Shogo, Harley and David, mostly. The rest are preparing for later. Where's Gwen and Betty?"

Walt smiled too giving her a small squeeze. "Settling in and catching up with the rest of the band... seems like we're a bit alone at the moment. It's been a while."

"We could go join them if you like," she said.

He shook his head and then kissed the top of hers. "Maybe later. What would you like to do my love?"

Penny smiled and he leaned down as she got up on her tip toes to whisper in his ear. "Practice making babies, my love?"

Walt grinned and nodded. "Penny, my love, you read my mind!" He bent down further and swept her up into a princess carry. Kissing they made their way towards the bed.

"Strike three!"

"Hey! No powers just yet!"

Sayoko smiled at Harley Quinn. "But I'm not using powers. Just ninjitsu."

Harley in a black and red bikini sighed as the others giggled and laughed. "So that's how it is?" She spat, took a deep breath and then laughed too. "Okay! Hahaha! Ninja ball! Y'all got me good! Heheheh... I like it! I'm out!" She shrugged and waved grinning.

She flounced off as Dave clapped for her being a good sport and passed her a drink. "Looking good, babe! Some of these girls got awesome abilities without having "powers" to speak of."

She smiled and kissed him, nodding. "Yep! I underestimated that one when we were picking teams! She's something else! You're up, girl!"

Manami swallowed. "Okay," she said nervously taking the bat in her black and pink bikini. "But... I'm not very good at physical stuff..."

Raven nodded, similarly attired. "It's not a problem," she said in her monotone. "She picked us because of our small strike zones."

Harley gave her a wink and a thumbs-up. "Yup! Well that and..." she gave them both a big hug startling them.

Dave chuckled. "Because you're both so darn cute! Especially in those bikinis!"

"I know riiight!" Harley said rubbing her cheek against the two. "Im so glad we're the ones playing "skins"! They're unbelievably cute! I thought as much when Ray-Ray here came into the GB&G that night with Walt! Wittle cutie-wootie! An' Wittle Manami at Villain-anon and now that Ilulu Walt has been hording not jest hotties but cuties! Can we get one?"

"Seriously?" Raven deadpanned. "Baby talk? Also bikinis? Not very protective."

Curie smiled. "Oui. Which eezs why I'm standing by for ze healing of any bruises or scrapes!"

"Aww..." said Ilulu bouncing over to tackle/hug Harley. She, Jen and Pepper had brought Shogo to watch while they baby sat until later. "They're just shy so don't take them seriously!"

"Can't... breathe!" Harley gasped smothered by boobs and releasing her hold on the other two.

Dave clapped and cheered and the others did too. "Go Manami!"

Sayoko smiled seeing Manami step up to bat. It really was a small strike zone... but it wouldn't be problem for her at all. However looking at the timid, yet brave, young woman nervously choke up on a bat nearly as tall as her made her smile as she wound up... and pitched her a fast but straight throw without any tricks.

"Strike one!" "Strike two!"

Manami sighed. Even without using tricky throws Sayoko was good. *Of course she is,* she thought. *Her normal attacks are throwing kunai and things! She's a throwing expert!* She shook her head and struggled to heft the bat into a ready position. "Don't give up, Manami," she whispered to herself. "Just do it. Analyze and think like Walt."

Sayoko looked at Neo, who'd used her semblance to create a rather sexy baseball uniform, who tipped her hat. She smiled and nodded. They were trying to go easy on their friend even on opposite sides. "You can do it, Manami," Sayoko whispered winding up for another throw.

And Manami stepped in and...

"Bonk!"

The ball connected with the bat as she bunted. She blinked in surprise as Sayoko smiled at her giving her a thumbs-up from the pitching mound. It wasn't until she heard her teammates shouting for her to run that she galvanized into action though.

"Well she's not exactly swift," Harley said watching Manami run for first base but she smiled. "But she don't have to be."

"Yup," Dave said as they watched her run her heart out slowly as the other team somewhat leisurely recovered the ball. "Everybody wanted her to play and have fun too. That's more important than "winning" to them."

Harley smiled. "Geez... it's like an after-school special round here!" She shrugged though giving the other team captain, Neo, a thumbs-up which she returned. "It's nice though!"

Dave smiled and nodded. "Yeah. They're awesome and obviously taking after you-know-who."

"Yup!" Harley agreed. "I was jest thinkin' the same thing! Now assuming Raven can do the same and get on base and then we call up the big guns!" She turned to Roberta who was wearing a black bikini with white maid like ruffles showing of her muscles. "Think you can knock it out of the park?"

Roberta smiled and adjusted her glasses showing a seriously, hard look in her eyes. "Sí. Leave it to me."

Harley grinned seeing her enthusiasm. "Score!"
