Jon explained the story to Jenna, with the device and all. The woman listened and looked at the device. Once Jon had finished his story, Jenna looked at both of them with a large smile, almost breaking into a laugh.

"It's a joke right ?" She finally said. "A modified phone from one of your departments and an insane story to wrap it up ?"

"I brought the stone as proof, do you want to try it ?" Said Jon, reaching a bag.

Jenna, still smiling, put her hands on Jon's arm. "I would prefer not to try it first hand, as a scientist, even for a joke, I can't ignore the possibility that it's real. Follow me."

The redhead left the room, and Jon followed with Freya and Melanie. Jon was impressed by the high tech devices all around them. The place was looking like some evil lair from a Bond movie. Scientists were bustling all around on various unknown projects. It was a really impressive sight.

Jenna turned into a room with two large windows. On the other side were two women, early twenties, a redhead and a brunette, dressed in hospital clothes. The room looked like a bedroom, with no color, just white.

In the room where they were, a woman in lab coat was monitoring screens and taking notes on her tablet. Jenna told her to take a break and the woman left without question. Once the door closed, Jenna turned to them, with the two girls behind her, on the other side of the glass.

"So, Freya, here is the project you wanted me to work on, project guardian. Do you want me to risk to skew the results, for this joke ?" She said with a defying tone.

Freya seemed hesitant, and Jon let the two women deal with their projects. But then, the blond nodded.

"Yes, I need you to believe it." She said.

Jenna didn't said a word, not even hiding her surprise. "OK, then..." She finally admitted. "I'm intrigued, let see what this is all about. You can put the stone in here, Jon."

The scientist showed a drawer in the wall between the two windows. Jon took his bag opened the drawer and carefully put the stone in it before closing.

"OK, what now ?" He asked.

Jenna was next to the desk and pressed a key on one of the computer. "Now, we observe, the girls here have their brain and vital signs monitored in real time, and what's in the drawer will only be accessible to one of the girl randomly. No one knows which one." She explained.

But Jon knew pretty fast which one it was. The redhead seemed to have frozen in place as soon as she looked in the direction of the drawer. Jenna looked at the monitors and frowned. "Fascinating..." She said.

Jon sigh, it sure was obvious that it wouldn't be easy to convince her. But his power was pretty much impossible to show. He could use the device to make her look through it and hope, that the wave would be a sufficient proof. Or he could just ask her to look into the device.
