This test was very simple, the hardest choice would be deciding how to go around. He could teleport to the other side, with the risk of ending up inside something... This could be helped if he used a portal instead, but would be more strenous...

In the end he decided on a simpler solution. He stepped up to the door, placing both hands on it as he uttered the spell. The surface of the door gave a small ripple, then let him press into it, shifting as if liquid while he passed through it.

The room on the other side was pitch black. Easily remedied with a cantrip though. He muttered another small spell and a shining blue flame appeared floating an inch above one palm.
