Scale the Tower

"Might as well get to the point." You sigh and walk toward the tower, manuvering around the large vines. "I just want to rescue this broad and get out of here."

"I don't mean to belittle your abilities, John." Doe speaks up. "But are you sure you can climb the outside of this tower? It's not going to be easy."

"Like the rest of this has been?" You ask. "No, I'm just going to have faith in the fact that I seem to have a collection of new abilites and one of those might be climbing."

"Just be careful." Doe says. "Please." You nod and sheath your sword before grabbing hold of one of the thorn stems and hoisting yourself up. The climb is slow and arguous, but you manage to use the curling plants like a large ladder and **** your way up the tower. Doe follows your ascent loyally.

Getting closer to the top, you stop by a glass window and look down. Much to your chagrin, it's a lot higher than you imagined. The frozen people below look like ants and you feel your hands start to shake. Your grip wasn't that great before and now it's getting worse.

"Are you okay?" The bird by your side asks.

"Yeah, yeah." You grumble. "Just getting my bearings. I'm a little higher than I thought." You take a deep breath and steady yourself. "Okay." You say. "I think I'm doing fine n-"

You are interrupted as the glass of the window next to you shatters into a thousand small shards. A large meaty hand thrusts out and grabs your collar. You let out a yell as your are yanked off the stem and pulled into the window roughly. Before you know what's happening, you are on a winding staircase and being thrown against the far wall. Your back slams against the stone and you barely manage to register the fact that there is a large man, apparently the one who pulled you in, coming at you with a sword.
