Chapter 5
by Exinator
Are you subtle about it, or just say it outright?
Say it outright
"You have tentacles." No point sugar coating it. You've absolutely confirmed they're real by now.
Ami's eyes go wide before you even finish speaking the last word. For a moment, she doesn't do anything, until it seems her brain has processed what you said. Or rather, not processed it.
Her eyes roll back into her head and the slipperiness of the appendages coming out of her cause her to collapse forward out of the chair, stone cold ****. They're trapped under the small weight her body has, perfectly still. Looks like they rely on her consciousness in some way.
You learned basic medical techniques in your training for this job. It's a shame you can't really remember it. Mercifully she's still breathing, which at least means you haven't got to call an ambulance and answer tricky questions from an EMT.
You grab a bottle of water from your backpack, pour some into a glass, wet your fingers, and flick your wrist so the droplets land on her face. You vaguely remember you learnt that as a way to bring someone back to consciousness, but you feel like a bit of an idiot doing it.
30 seconds pass and she shows no sign of regaining consciousness aside from a reflexive reaction the first time you got water on her. That tells you her brain's capable of basic functions, so that's something. You really wish she'd wake up, though. You grow more and more ****, eventually resorting to lightly slapping her on each cheek.
You now can see that the weird, smooth limbs growing out of her protrude from either side of her torso, roughly half way down. You don't dwell too much on exactly why they grew there.
Another 30 seconds pass, but it feels like 30 minutes. You grow gradually more panicked as you watch her out of the corner of your eye. It's at this point you spot her left eyelid twitch subtly. You say in as calm a voice as you can, "Are you alright?"
"My head hurts, and that same weird feeling from before is still there, only stronger." She speaks quietly and slowly.
You help her back into the desk chair she sat in before, offering her the bottle of water. "Drink this, it'll make you feel better." You imagine yourself in her shoes for a moment. "It's mineral water, nothing more."
She drinks fervently, like she's not had water in days. That's seems unusual since she had a water with her food at lunch, but before you can get too worried about it you hear her utter something too quietly for you to hear.
"What was that?"
"That urge I've got, it is to feed."
"Feed on what? What are you hungry for?"
For an instant, you swear her facial features are composed in such a way that makes her look mischievous, before quickly going back to the uncharacteristically serene expression she's worn so far. You realise you should press the issue at hand. "Do you remember what I said before you passed out?"
"Yes," is all she says. Immediately after, her expression changes to one of intense contemplation. She looks like she's thinking something very important and you don't want to interrupt.
"They don't hurt." You're immediately relieved to hear it. "I don't know how to control them, though."
The only experience you can draw advice from is the small handful of fantasy RPG's you played years ago. You vaguely remember one game having a boss who taunted, "killing you would be as easy as a thought."
"Try thinking something, Ami. Think, I dunno, 'move around in circles'."
She looks pensive as she tries to do it, and you notice both of the appendages behind her moving in a circular motion. "That's it, they're doing what you think! Okay, now try thinking 'hide'."
There's a few second delay before you see the tentacles retract entirely, with no visible marks down the sides of her body.
"Now try thinking 'come back', let's see how they respond." A few seconds pass, and her two appendages are back, waving around behind her. They look wetter, like they've just been lubricated.
"That doesn't hurt?"
She shakes her head. "To be honest, feels quite nice."
"That's good. I'm glad you're unhurt." The entirely accidental addition of tentacles to this otherwise painfully average, shy girl seems to have gone quite well. You give yourself a mental pat on the back.
"So, in summary, you've grown tentacles but happily it's not an issue for you to retract them entirely when you need to." You pause, looking her in the eyes now. "To be honest, I had no idea what would happen when I gave you that ****, but in a way I'm sort of happy this is what happened."
"I'm not unhappy with it." There's that same little bit of mischief in her expression again, it lingers for a little longer now. There's an undercurrent of mischief in the next thing she says, too. "I should thank you for this."
"No, it's quite alright. In fact, here's your two hundred." You reach into your pocket, but before you can pull out your wallet she places a hand on top of yours.
"No need. Really, I'd prefer to thank you."
"Thank me? How?"
"Let's say there isn't much I can't do with these." If she was speaking with an undercurrent of mischief a few moments ago, she's upgraded to full seduction now. To further prove her point, she makes the tips of both wiggle as if they're waving to you.
A weird mixture of fear and arousal runs through your body as you realise she's in a very powerful position.
It'd be wise to avoid upsetting her, lest you face the terribly painful wrath of very strong, flexible, and undeniably powerful new limbs.
You blush as you recall more than a few self-indulgene fantasies you've had in recent times that included tentacles, so letting her reward you doesn't seem unappealing...
Refuse, or let her reward you?
