Save your squad mates!

After only a moment of thought you start to follow the horde of infected to their nest and see if you can save them by either a hair-brained scheme or through stealth and misdirection. If you do the louder of the two you know that you can not turn back compared to the stealth idea which allows you to do a couple of actions. The best point is that you can get a lot more people out then if you were to attack the front. Another point is that there is less likely chance that you will get captured and used like your fellow soldiers will most likely be. Overall both plans have their ups and downs.

The downs both are also important for yourself will be a major factor in how you do anything. The fact that the hive that these creatures use as home will be heavily guarded by a lot of powerful infected people. These heavy hitters could almost take down hole squads of people with ease, but their vision is not the best. After you had first witnessed it you called them tanks based on how tough it was based on some reports you had read. There are also some that can grab a person from a fair distance away, but you know that they can not hear or smell at all, although its vision is near 20/20, you called them ropers.

After following the column of infected for about a mile you spot the hive, which was a buzz with activity. As soon as you spot this you start to get ahead of the column to scout out routes to use for yourself and others. As soon as you find a good spot to climb to observe you see that the amount of patrols is a lot smaller than what you were thinking. There were only about half a dozen tanks and ropers which went out from the entrance to about half a block outward. This is the time after seeing this to decide how you are going to do this either loudly or quietly.
