Matt ignored his angel and whipped his wings into dive, swooping in an almost cartoonishly perfect snatch out of the grasp of the raptor demon. Holding the girl in his arms superman style he could see she was cuter up close, her bewildered eyes big and innocent looking at him.

Landing two blocks and around the corner in an ally he put her down. Matt was confused, his brain informed him about, roughly making people ignore and not question too much any display of his power, but the effect becoming weaker with each exposure, this girl being oddly resistant it would seem.

"Are you okay?" Matt asked, feeling like a superhero, but also itching to finish off those demons, a new feeling in both respects.
