Saturday Party

My body is still tired from practice this morning. Coach had us do a LOT of sprints, and my calves ache. After practice, I had taken a long nap, waking late in the afternoon to get ready for the party. Tom came over around 6 pm to help me setup, and we made an the **** run around 7 pm. Fortunately, Tom's fake ID works very well, and the place we went to never cards anyways.

Doe arrives around 8, an hour before the start of the party, hair wet from the rain outside. I take her jacket, storing it in my bedroom.

"You drinking much?" I ask her.

"Probably not much. I don't want to be hungover tomorrow when I'm packing," she replies.

"Yeah, same here," I say, "Although Aaron said he'll bring some weed over. I think he wants to smoke."

"I don't really smoke," Doe says slowly, "But...I'll have a bit with you."

I smile. Its been a while since I got high and I know I'll enjoy it. I've also never experienced a high Doe before, and it'll no doubt be fun.

People start to drift in around 9 pm: Emily, Alice, Jake, Will, Mike, Aaron, Allie, Jenna, Rachel, Sean and a few others. I can sense a buzz of excitement around each as I let them in - everyone is anticipating our two week trip. Around 9:30 everyone who was invited and could come has arrived, and the party is already in full swing, a game of pong already being played.
