What next?

Saturday Drinks

My alarm shook me from a surprisingly deep sleep.

I groaned, rolling onto my back and staring up at the ceiling. I couldn't remember the last time I'd slept so soundly. I didn't usually work a Saturday but me and Lily had planned a few days away and I had some things to finish up before I left.

She lay asleep next to me. She wore an oversized Disney t-shirt and her hair was wild sprawled across her face. She was snoring in a cute way, her nose scrunched up, her mouth slightly open. I smiled, watching her sleep. I wanted to make love to her right then and there, to feel her body moving beneath mine. But instead, I quietly slipped out of bed and headed into the bathroom to get ready for work.

I went early, to get it all finished so I could enjoy my weekend. I'd been sat in the office for an hour when my phone buzzed.

It was a message from Lily. "Drinks tonight? Meet me at The Clock Bar?" She added a winking emoji at the end. I hesitated for a moment. Part of me wanted to see her, to spend time with her and try to forget about the jealousy that had consumed me ever since I caught her with Jake. But I knew that it wouldn't be easy.

Every time I saw them together, my heart ached with a sense of loss and betrayal. I wasn't sure how I was going to handle it, but I knew that I had to try.

So, after finishing up at work, I drove over to The Clock Bar. It was 5pm so it was pretty quiet, the Saturday night crowds hadn't descended yet.

Lily was sitting at the bar, talking animatedly with a group of friends. As soon as she noticed me, she waved me over.

I slid onto the stool beside her, giving her a quick peck on the cheek. "Hey, baby," I greeted her, trying to sound casual despite the thunderous beat of my heart.

Lily was with Abby, Laura and Jake.

Abby was new, she had only worked at The Clock Bar for a month or two. She was a cute little thing, a brunette with soft curves and bright blue eyes.

Laura was another bartender at The Clock Bar. She was a stunning blonde. She was always friendly and welcoming, making everyone feel comfortable whenever they came in.

Jake was smirking at me, obviously enjoying himself. I hated seeing him with Lily, but there was nothing I could do about it. I settled in next to her, listening as she regaled her friends with stories from her latest shift at The Clock Bar.

I sipped my drink, feeling the familiar burn of **** spreading through my system. It helped to dull the pain of seeing her with Jake, but it also made me feel a little bit reckless.

"Do you guys all just live in here" I asked, jokingly. They seemed to be in there all weekend, working or not.

"We're a big happy family," Jake responded, giving Lily a squeeze around the waist. She betted him away playfully.

"Well, we all work hard and deserve to have a good time too!" Lily added. I took a long drink, I was going to need to be buzzed to survive this evening.

I turned towards Jake, forcing a smile onto my face. "Are you going to buy us all a round of drinks, or what?" I joked, hoping to diffuse the tension that seemed to be building between us.

Jake laughed loudly, clapping me on the back. "Of course, mate! Coming right up!" He called out to the bartender, signaling for another round of drinks.

Abby leaned in close to me, her breath tickling my ear. "Is everything alright between you and Lily?" she whispered anxiously.

I reassured her with a gentle pat on the shoulder, "Of course, don't worry about it". I turned to face Jake once again, attempting to keep my composure as he bought us all another round of drinks.

The air in the bar was growing more thick with anticipation, the bass of the music throbbing through the floorboards as the crowd grew larger. Lily caught my eye, flashing me a mischievous grin.

We had a few rounds of shots and we were all feeling it. Abby kept shooting me dirty looks whenever Jake spoke to Lily, which made me laugh. I tried to ignore it and focus on having a good time. We danced to the music, screaming the lyrics at the top of our lungs.

It was getting late and I was starting to slow down. "Should we head home soon?" I asked Lily, over the sound of the music.

She giggled, her cheeks flushed with excitement. "Not yet," she replied, as she headed back to the dancefloor.

Abby came over and grabbed my hand. "Come dance" she said, leading me towards the dancefloor. I smiled, appreciating her effort to include me. I glanced over at Lily who was busy chatting with Jake, her hips swaying to the beat of the music.

When I looked back at Abby I noticed she was dancing really close, her hips moving with mine. I felt a surge of excitement. She was a cute little thing, standing around 5'4 with a thicker build than Lily but by no means overweight. Her breasts moved rhythmically as she danced and I found myself focusing on them for a little too long.

We must have danced for 3 or 4 songs, getting lost in each other when I looked around and noticed Lily was gone. Worse still, Jake was gone too. I leant in close to Abby, she pressed her body against me as I did.

"Do you know where they went?" I stuttered nervously. She leaned in close, her lips brushing against my ear. "They probably went to the bathroom. Or maybe to get some air."

Despite her attempt to calm me down, my heart was racing. I glanced around the room, searching for any sign of them.

Abby sensed my unease, her fingers digging into my arm. She pressed closer into me and I felt my cock brush over her abdomen.

"Don't worry, they'll be back soon," she promised, though she didn't seem entirely convinced herself. I nodded, trying to appear confident. In reality, panic was rising inside me.

We continued dancing, moving with the beat of the music. I could feel her body pressing against mine, her hips swaying with a seductive rhythm. I glanced down, catching sight of her chest. She had a tiny black lace bra on underneath her shirt, the straps barely visible through the fabric. I felt a rush of heat in my chest, imagining what she might look like without anything on at all.

I nearly lost myself in the moment, but a voice in the back of my head told me to go look for them. I went to check the bathrooms. My heard thudding in my chest remembering last time. I pushed open the door, steeling myself for whatever I might find. To my relief, the bathroom was empty.

I headed to the smoking area, a cordoned off area of the street. There was only a couple of people out there. it was dying down for the night, there was no sign of Lily or Jake.

I pulled out my phone, scrolling through my contacts until I found Lily's number. As it rang, my heart raced in my chest. Finally, she picked up. "Where are you?" I demanded, my voice shaking.

There was a pause on the other end of the line. "We're outside," she finally replied, her tone unreadable.

"I'm outside, I don't see you" I retorted, frustration creeping into my voice.

Another pause, followed by a soft sigh. "We're just walking back from the shop," she explained slowly. "Why are you looking for us?"

I took a deep breath, trying to calm myself down. "I was worried," I admitted reluctantly. "You both disappeared and I couldn't find you anywhere."

"We'll be back in a couple of minutes, will you go get me and Jake a drink from the bar?" she asked sweetly.

"Sure," I responded sheepishly. I hung up and went to head back inside, but something stopped me.

Instead I went down the alleyway at the side of the bar. Sure enough, I could see two figures. I knew it had to be them. They were pressed up against the wall. I could make out Lily's silver dress, and I could see Jake's big frame pushing her up against the wall.

I crept up silently.

My heart pounded in my chest as I listened to them, hidden behind a dumpster.

They were kissing passionately, hands exploring each other's bodies. It was clear that Jake had her pinned against the wall. His hand slid up her dress, cupping her ass.

My anger grew as I listened, and helplessly watching them. Soft moans escaped Lily's mouth. My jealousy consumed me as I stood there, unable to tear my eyes away from the sight of them.

"Oh fuck, Jake" Lily moaned, arching her back as his hand worked beneath her dress. "We have to be quick" she gasped, her breath coming in short gasps.

I clenched my fists tightly, my heart hammering in my chest. I wanted to charge over there and drag them apart, but I couldn't bring myself to do it. I wasn't strong enough to resist the temptation to watch them.

Jake pulled his cock out and we all took a moment to admire it. "Fuck, it's so big" she whispered urgently.

I watched as Jake slowly pushed his way inside her. She gasped, arching her back as he filled her completely. I could hear the sound of skin slapping against skin as he began to thrust into her.

Lily's breath came in sharp gasps as Jake's powerful strokes took hold of her. She wrapped her legs around him, pulling him deeper into her. I watched as their bodies moved together in perfect synchronicity.

Outside, the sounds of the city bustled, but I was oblivious to it all.

All I could hear was the sound of Lily's moans echoing in my ears. I pulled my phone out and dialled her again. I watched as her phone started ringing. She looked at it and silenced it. "Jake, be quick,"

He thrust harder into her, driving her up against the wall. Her breath came in ragged gasps as she struggled to keep up with his powerful strokes.

I winced, feeling the pain of jealousy burning within me. I couldn't bear to listen anymore. I slipped out from behind the dumpster, making my way back into the bar.

The noise and lights of the bar greeted me like an oasis. I ordered a drink, trying to steady my nerves. Abby came and sat next to me on the barstool, her leg casually brushing against mine. "How are you holding up?" she asked, concern etched across her face. I **** a smile, not wanting to burden her with my worries. "I'm fine," I lied smoothly. "Just tired."

"Alex, Abby!" Lily called out as she approached us, her hair messy and lipstick smeared across her lips. Jake trailed behind her, a satisfied grin plastered across his face.

I **** a smile, trying to keep my emotions in check. "Hi guys," I replied evenly. "Had a good time?"

Lily laughed light heartedly, swinging her hips as she walked past us.

"Oh yeah, we had a great time," she purred.

Jake chuckled, clapping me on the shoulder. "We got some booze," he said, gesturing towards the bottle in his hand.

"Jake, Abby, come back to ours for a drink" Lily said, taking my hand and tugging me along. Jake followed behind us, his chest puffed out with pride.

Invite them back to your house?
