Chapter 170 by Wolf13
What's next?
Saturday 10 Trio
Walt walked through the woods. He looked back at his tag alongs. "I'm not sure why you three decided to follow after me but I assure you I can take care of myself."
Lydia nodded. "Of course, my Tha-" she stopped herself and shook her head. "Of course, Walter."
Aela grinned. "It's good to see confidence in the wilds and likely true... but still aren't you the one always reminding everyone to not underestimate the wild?"
Walt nodded conceding the point. "True. Now that most everyone is contected to Friday It's a bit less of a worry but anything could still happen."
At least Serana was quiet but she usually was during the day. Still Walt had wanted time alone to cool down. Not easy to do with a trio of very different but super sexy Nord ladies following along. *Damn those are some good mods!* he thought. *Almost too good. They're not bimbos thankfully but damn! Hot and cold running warrior babes!* He took a breath and seeing a old campsite decided that maybe this was a good time to stop and have a chat. "How about we stop here for a bit?"
The ladies nodded. Walt sat on a log and pointed out a spot. "That's a nice shady spot over there if you'd like, Serana."
She smiled at the thoughtful gesture. "Thank you," she said moving over and sitting on down on a stone under an outcrop getting out of the sun. She pushed back her hood tucking her hair behind her ear. "It's good to get out of the sun for a while."
Lydia seated herself on the same log infront of the cold firepit setting down her shield. Aela meanwhile stat across from them on an old stump. She pulled out a bottle and took a swig then passed it around.
Lydia took some and passed it to Walt. Walt nodded thanks and smiled. "Black-Briar Reserve. I'm glad to see you've been down to the cellar. To you ladies." He drinks and passed it to Serana who nodded her thanks before taking a sip and passing it back to Aela.
"So," Walt said. "Why did you follow me out here?"
The three look at each other. Serana speaks first. "We over heard you talking to Roberta and Sayoko..."
Aela swallows and passed the bottle to Lydia saying, "... and we wanted to speak with you about it..."
Lydia accepted the bottle but just looked at it. "You're a wise and noble person but more than that... a good man and owner. As you know our previous owner wasn't such a man..."
"A swine," Aela spat.
"We still think you were far to lenient on him," Serana added. "But we trust your judgment on the matter was wise and was for our own good... still he deserved worse."
Lydia nodded. "Now that we've lived here, been accepted home by you and the others, and seen how you treat not just them but all of us... we wanted you to know we respect you even more now as a person and still feel indebted to you. Hearing you say the things you do like you just told the maids. We know from experience "bad" owners so we feel we can safely tell you are a good one and we appreciate you and would like to help and contribute more if you have a use for us." She drank and passed the bottle to him.
Now it was Walt who stared at the bottle. "Thank you. I appreciate all of you and your telling me that." He sighed. "I know that you three have been through a lot. You've seen more of "Prime" than the others have... and a lot of it the not so pleasant side. I didn't want to rush into this, and please don't feel that I'm rushing you now because that's not the case - feel free to take your time and think it over all you like... but I would like to offer you the same thing if you want it. Family. A place to belong. You three are practically that to each other from the bond you've forged. If you'll allow me the honor someday... I want to be able to be that for you. I promise. I'll stand by you and protect you. Shelter and provide for you." He looked up to look them in the eyes. "I appreciate everything that you do and if I can think of something else later I'll let you know then but for now I can only ask two things. You know bad owners... so help me stay a "good" owner. I've made a few mistakes already but I have learned from them... but if I start to make any big one's or worse still let the power go to my head or neglect the responsibilities that go with it, let me or Friday know... and help me to keep the others safe. Please?" He drank and passed the bottle.
Serana took it but shook her head and passed it to Aela. She looked at him and said, "May I taste... your blood instead?"
Walt is surprised. He nods and stands pulling out his knife.
Aela nods too and stands. "I have heard your words, your request and I accept. To you!" She drinks down half of what's left and passes the bottle to Lydia.
Lydia also stands. "I have also heard your words, your request and I accept. To you!" She drinks down half that remains and waits.
Walt approached Serana rolling up his sleeve and cutting into his arm as he stepped into the shadows with her."Only a little," he says and when she looks up with her glowing eyes he warns. "I'm not sure how much you can handle... go slowly."
Serana nods licking her lips. "I have also heard your words, your request and I accept. To you!" She takes his arm and tentatively sticks her tongue out catching a drop. Her eyes go wide and blaze with a fire like glow as she swallows, then shakingly latches onto his arm.
He takes the bottle from Lydia. "As I have sworn, so shall it be! To you three! My bond, my word and my thanks!" He drains the bottle.
Lydia smiles and Aela grins... but grits his teeth as Serana moans with delight and ecstatic pleasure, desperately clinging to his arm. He sighed was afraid of this. She was losing control and he... needed to adjust his pants. He did so and knelt down to her level and looked her in the eyes. Serana froze and shivered as he stroked her hair saying in her ear, "Enough, Serana," and kissed her cheek.
Just that was enough and she did let go as she gasped, "Master!" She shook as she clutched herself and Walt held her. She felt wonderful and while his touch was soft and tone soothing it all brought her pleasure as well.
Aela swallowed hard and Lydia asked, "What happened to her?" They'd all experienced debauched pleasure before but they'd never seen her like this.
Walt sighed. "I'm an adventurer too... once upon a time. I'm... different for it, now. Changed. I won't go into the details but I'm infused with the essence of life and **** now. She's a vampire. A pure one no less. Alive and yet not. My powers are similar but fundamentally different. I tried to warn her only a taste. I fear she drank too much. Worst case scenario I will attempt to do a ritual but I don't think she had quite that much. Serana? Can you hear me?"
Serana shakes. "Yes... I hear you..."
Walt sighed. "Are you alright?"
"I think so. And thanks for asking." She reached up and stroked his face tenderly. "I haven't felt anything like that in ages. You're... a bit like me but also not... I apologize for worrying you."
Walt smiled and kissed her hand. "As long as you're alright, it's fine."
Lydia sighs in relief while Aela looks interested. "Can you really do rituals like you said? Was Lydia correct when she mistakenly called you a lord wizard before when we first met?"
Walt sighed. "It's... complicated but yes, she technically wasn't wrong about the "wizard" part. Entomology speaking "Wizard" simply means "wise one", literally a person who knows things. The magical connotations came much later. I happen to know a great many things and I am always learning more. So yes. I suppose I am a wizard."
Lydia tries to reevaluate while Aela struggles to understand and Serana, still feeling giddy, laughs and says, "That was a very well spoken side stepping of the question! Nicely done. I'm a little impressed."
Walt rubs the back of his neck. "Sorry... I just... don't like labels. I know Nords don't hold "wizards" and "magic" in the highest of regards. Truth be told my own experiences with them leave me a bit "sour" on the terms. Let's just say I can do things and leave it that? I am more comfortable with thinking of myself as just a former adventurer." He smiles and winks. "I'm a more than fair rogue and capable warrior after all."
Lydia nods and even Aela smiles. "That's certainly true... so are you really the Nerevarine as Ahnassi claims? Impressive!"
Walt nodded and debated on whether to tell them the truth about the rest as well. Dovahkiin. Hero of Kvatch. The Agent. Eternal Champion and so many other titles from their setting. That he knows quite a bit about who they are from meeting other versions of "themselves" in another version of their world... Some other time perhaps. "That's right... I'm also Nerevar Moon-and-Star reborn and before you ask Dagoth Ur wasn't quite like the memes make him out to be... though they are slightly amusing."
He shook his head and reached into his pocket pulling out a flask. He took a drink of the whiskey and then passed it. "You ladies want to hear some wise words from a "wizard"? I got some to share."
Seeing them nod passing around the flask he did too. "That's the problem with this world... and just about every world I know. Labels. At the end of the day seems like everyone is quick to try to label somebody as something. Jarl, thane, wizard, warrior, rogue, soldier, spy, human, demi, mutant, hero, villain..." He reached up and fingered his hat. "Cowboy, rich, poor, redneck, white collar, blue collar and countless other damn things... at the end of the day, in my experience, none of that shit matters. The only titles and labels that mean a damn are the ones you accept for yourself."
He scuffed his boots and then looked up again. "Folks who work for me call me "Boss" and I accepted it 'cause it's accurate. Penny and some of the others asked me to be their "Master" and I accepted it for the same reason and because that's how they needed it to be. It's the same with everyone here. Most have chosen the label of friends or family for themselves. It's the same for the three of you. Shield maiden, housecarl, werewolf, vampire and so much more... this bond you three share. Friendship, sisterhood or whatever you call it, is more important because you choose it for yourselves. At the end of the day it's only the ones we choose to accept for ourselves really matter and mean a damn thing."
Aela smiles and nods. "You're right... that's wise counsel. I do consider them Shield-Sisters and I hope when the day comes we might be Shield-Brother and Shield-Sister, as well."
Lydia smiles as well. "I also appreciate your words and their wisdom. I... apologize if it seemed like I was trying to **** a title upon you. That was never my intent. But I would like to serve, now more than ever. I'm impressed not only by your prowess and strength but by your leadership, generosity and wisdom. If you'd do me the honor of accepting?" She drew her blade and knelt offering it.
Walt nodded. "Very well. I can see it's important to you and you've put thought into this," he took the sword and told her, "I accept you and take you into my service as my housecarl, Lydia. If you'll do me the honor of arising and accepting?" He spun the blade easily in his hands offering it to her hilt and pommel first.
Lydia smiled and did so sheathing the blade at her side. "I do. It's an honor to serve you. I'm sworn to your service. I'll guard you, and all you own, with my life."
Walt smiled and clapped her on the shoulders. "Thank you, Lydia." He looked at them. "Come on. Let's get back to the picnic."
They nodded and started back. "But is it alright to go back there?" Aela asked.
Walt raised an eyebrow. "Why wouldn't it be?"
Lydia sighed. "You came out here for a reason..."
Serana took his hand somewhat shyly. "You're even worse of than you were before. It's my fault... I'm sorry."
Walt blushed and looked down, shaking his head. "Nothing to be sorry about and there's no one to blame but myself. I'll manage." He tried not to think about how nice her hand felt or how wonderful they all looked and smelled all the way back.
