Sarah gets off to an early lead

Sarah felt good.

She fell into a fast, easy rhythm, and before long she had drawn ahead of her sisters. At first she was somewhat creeped out by the hoots and hollers of the watching Frat bros. But the warm sun caressing her and the gentle breeze blowing back her long hair relaxed her.

Part of her almost felt sorry for their pursuers. It was kind of a mean trick to embarrass them in front of their friends like this. Then she remembered that her hunter had named himself 'Bitch Tamer' and any pity left her.

The jeers of the watching Bros began to exhilarate rather than disgust her, and she picked up even more speed.

She was Artemis, the wild huntress, and she would never be tamed.

Suddenly, she heard a sound behind her and turned to look.
