"Sarah? Are you done getting ready?" Came a woman's voice.
"I'm not feeling-" James tried to say in his best Sarah impression.
"Oh my gawd!" The door opened and a woman in. Harley Quinn costume came bursting in. It was Heather, Sarah's bestie. "You look gorgeous!"
"Thanks," James said.
"We got to get going or we'll be late or the costume party!"
James tried to protest, but Heather took his hand and dragged him to the Uber.
"We will for sure win the couples costumes!" Heather squealed in the back of the Uber.
James tried to keep quiet and in character to avoid letting Heather know he wasn't Sarah. Lucky for him Heather was an over talker.
The Uber pulled up to a fancy house already bustling with partying. The costume party was clearly in full swing and the theme was "villains". Supervillains, Disney Villains, etc...
