About the Nerd Archetype

The Nerd has a number of downs and ups and compared to the other Archetypes needs a clever hand and skillful thinking to make full advantage of the ups and to minimize the downs.

A couple Ups are the the Nerd has access to the ability “ Critical Thinking “. This ability is used during dialogue and when used grants several other options to use. Such as if a person ask you an impossible question you can call out that it is an impossible question.

Another one is that Nerds are granted an increase to their Intelligence from the base of 5 to 8.

One other up is that Nerds have an increased memory allowing them to store more knowledge than most other people. Nerds also have a plus ten to science, math, history, Chemistry and other school subjects.

But there are a number of downsides that made this archetype more challenging to select. For starters Nerds have a quite noticeable lack of muscle mass due to this the nerd strength has been reduced from the base 5 to a 3 making more push able and making nerds more susceptible to sex and more likely to faint. Then there is the fact that even with the Nerd increased knowledge this actually means the opposite to their Sexual prowess and Knowledge. S Ability has been reduced from 25 to 15 and S knowledge from 15 to 10. Their is also the fact the in the vast majority of nerds they have poor eyesight Perception has been reduced from 5 to 2 but with glasses it remains at 5 but this leads to the situation that the nerd ‘losses his/her glasses their a sitting duck to anyone mischievous enough also those glasses don’t help them in the looks department they take minus 5 “looks”

In the Simulation Nerds tend to be in the bottom rungs of society. They never talk to much about side of their clubs or friends and they don’t have many friends outside of school. ‘Nerds’ are the prime targets of bullying and harassment from the Sluts, Punks and Bullies, they are extra **** to the Sluts “Seduction ” the Punks “Dirty Tricks”and the Bullies “Threaten”and associated Tactics and Abilities.

Nerds have the Good Natured Morality. This affects things in several ways. Such as when partaking in or witnessing anything that breaks the rules such as sexual acts will inflict them with the guilt status effect for two hours and it can stack. The Guilt will make the nerd do one of two things. Run to the nearest authorities Teachers,Student council etc or if no one in that role I’d near they will run and find the nearest stop that doesn’t show the act.
