Who to send?
Sam finds something interesting while they're out
"We're going to need to make a supply run." Alice said.
Tom scratched the back of his head, embarrassed. "Sorry."
Tom, Alice and Jen got ready. "Aren't you coming?" Tom asked Sam.
Sam looked uneasy. "I'd rather stay here, thanks."
Tom, Alice and Jen left, leaving Sam home alone.
Sam had been having a hard time of the changes. He felt like some kinda freak. And Jen had turned into a huge bitch to him for no reason.
Sam had been getting suspicious. Tom seemed to be benefitting the most from these changes. Maybe he was just being paranoid. No, Tom must have something to do with it. Nobody gets that jacked overnight. And he was clearly hiding something. He started searching the place.
It long before Sam saw a strap of paper sticking out Tom's desk draw. "Huh?" Curious, he opened the drawer and pulled it out. 'Command access alpha-4589-fuckyouTina'. "What?" Sam asked. He just stood there, looking at the paper. "Command access?"
He checked his phone, looking for information about what it said on the paper. He found nothing.
Then he remembered fifteen years. His father had told him about the nanites. He had been on a government project to study the nanites and find out a way to control them. He had at one point thought he had found the password. 'Command access alpha-4589'. There was nothing about 'fuckyouTina'. The password Sam's father spoke had turned out to be wrong and he died of a heart attack. Apparently, the nanites reacted to the wrong password by altering his heart to make it super weak.
Could Sam have found the correct password to access these nanites?
