"Uncle Mark is going to kill me," Sam whispered to himself as he researched the logs of the system, "he's going to come back see that his system is broken. he's going to find out that I messed up the system, and he's going to kill me."

Sure, shutting down the system was necessary as his prank had gone too far, how was he supposed to know that things would escalate this far?

Maybe he shouldn't have fooled with the system in the first place. Then there wouldn't be any risk.

Sam was still sure that he could fix things and cover his tracks, he just needed to restart MARCI and change Kylie back to Kyle and Uncle Mark would be none the wiser.

"Maybe," Sam thought aloud, "MARCI exists as a separate protocol or system. I should just be able to find that and restart it."

He typed on his terminal screen "locate MARCI"

"What?! that cant be right!"

He spent 15 minutes rephrasing his command, always yielding the same result.
