Saki Pt 2 continued

"I can't believe it!"

Saki had preformed her duties as David's maid, helped him with some chores, had dinner with him and then let him walk her to her neighborhood before insisting she could make her way home from there since he'd mentioned he had business to take care of... but she hadn't. Instead she'd immediately started following him, tailing him through the city.

And now here she stood. "The red light district..." she whispered and swallowed. Again the words of her classmates rang in her ears. David, her David, had come right to the red light district! Immediately after parting ways with her!

She ducked out of sight behind a sign as he stopped and looked around. What would he say seeing her here? Or would he assume she was "for sale"? Would he then be interested in "buying" her?! Would he then use her for his pleasure... and hers?!?! She tried ignoring how that made her heartbeat speed up and-

"Hey! Gobbo girrrl!"

She looked up at the fierce looking hyena face of a gnoll. She was large, dangerous looking covered in piercings, leather and chains... none of which hid or concealed anything. Her breasts with nipple piercings on proud display she leaned down into Saki's face her eyes flashing angrily beneath a purple Mohawk. "You trrrying to take my spot? You gotta lot of nerve girrrly!"

Saki gulped, "Wha... No!" Saki help up her hands backing away from the fierce lady blushing as she realized she'd been standing in her "territory"... for prostituting herself. "I- No, it's n-not l-l-like that! I-I'm sorry! P-Please don't eat me!"

"What?!" Said the gnoll first surprised then even more angry. "I'm not a fucking cannibal anymorrre than you civilized goblins arrre you speciest bitch!"

A red headed lamia girl in a sexy, slinky dress slithered up. "Easssy Trudy. Can't you sssee how ssscard ssshe isss? You're intimidating her." She smiled at Saki. "Ssshe's not ssso ssscary, dear. Ssshe won't gobble you up... leastwise not without getting paid to do it sssexualy!" The lamia stuck out her tongue and winked.

The gnoll, Trudy looked angry... then the corners of her mouth lifted into a predatory smile and she started laughing. "Yeah! Hahaha! Fairrr enough! Heheheh!"

Saki blushed at the implication but then bowed. "I-I'm sorry! I shouldn't have-"

"Nah! Hahahah!" Trudy said laughing and cutting her off. "Forget it, kid! Hehehe! Sorrrrry furrr comin' on strrrong an' scarrring ya! Hahaha!"

The Lamia smiled. "Sssee? Trudy'sss friendly... mossstly. Jussst don't call her "Gertrude"." She winked ignoring Trudy saying "Hey!" In protest of having her real name given out. "And my name isss Maya. And you are?"

Saki smiled. "Saki. It's a pleasure to meet both of you!"

Trudy smiled. "Likewise, Saki! So what brrrings ya outhere? If yerrr looking forrr a spot to sell from I suppose we can steerrr ya away from the claimed ones an' keep ya outta trouble. Yerrr obviously fresh meat."

Saki smiled. They were still intimidating but they were really kind of nice offering to help her- "What? N-No! It's not like that! I-" she blushed. "I was following someone-"

Trudy grinned a sharp toothed grin while Maya covered her mouth. "Oh ho! Tracked the ole boyfrrriend to the rrred-light district did ya?" Trudy asked.

Saki blushed even more. "David's not my... David!" She looked but she'd lost sight of him completely. "Oh no he's gone! I-I lost him..." a single tear rolled out from the corner of her eye as she thought about really losing David from her life as some other girl took her David away from her by offering herself to him... she then blushed as she realized she'd just thought of him as "hers".

Maya looked at the crestfallen girl then gave Trudy a look. The gnoll rolled her eyes and sighed teasing her Mohawk. "Yeah, yeah. Ok! Look, grrirly... Saki. It's earrrly still... I could... maybe... trrrack him for ya if ya wa- Whoa!"

Saki hugged her burying her face into the no longer scary seeming woman's belly. "Thank you, Trudy! Thank-you-thank-you-thank-you-"

"Ok! Calm down grrirl! Woof!" Trudy said but she was smiling. "You got anything of his with his scent?"

Saki blinked. "Something of his? No... I don't- wait!" She reached in her pocket and pulled out the handkercheif full of cookies. "The cookies he made me! The handkerchief is his!"

Trudy smiled and shared a knowing glance with Maya who nodded. The guy cared enough to make treats especially for his goblin girlfriend? He likely was a sweetheart and not a cheater... but then what was he doing here? "Yeah that'll probably worrrk," Trudy said. "Give it here."

Saki put the cookies in her pocket and did and Trudy started giving it a sniff then sniffing the air. "Yeah... he was just herrre. Follow me grrirls." She started leading them deeper into the redlight district.

Saki gulped as the further in they got the more debauched things became. Drunks, revelers and even people fucking in public. There was even one older orc guy who approached her... but Trudy growled and he backed off quickly while Maya explained. Trudy had a bit of a reputation... she was a generally nice person but in her youth she'd ran with some of the gangs around here.

"Hey," she sniffed. "That him? Damn grrirl! Ya didn't say he was a human! Nice!"

Saki looked and gulped. There was David... talking to a pretty and curvy halfling girl.

"Oh no," Maya said. "Saki... I'm so sorry-" as Trudy growled. "Wait... hold up!"

They watched David talking to the girl and though she seemed to act flirty she also pointed down an alley. David smiled and seemed to thank her and give her a copper coin before turning down the alleyway. Saki breathed a sigh. "He was just asking for directions. That's a relief... Trudy what's wrong?"

Trudy frowned. "That leads inta the arrrea called the ghetto."

Saki blinked. "It's a slum? That's not good."

Maya shook her head. "No not the ssslum though that'sss not far either. The ghetto. It's where people the ssslumsss won't take live for a reassson. Dissseasesss but also poisssonsss... it'sss the alchemistsss quarter among other sssketchy and odd typesss."

Saki blinked then nodded. "Oooh... that makes sense. He's a wizard adventurer."

"What?!" Asked Trudy and Maya incredulously.

"He's an adventurer wizard," Saki said.

Maya looked at Trudy who nodded then sighed. "Sssaki... He's a young human man...and a wizard asss well asss an adventurer..."

Trudy grinned. "If you like him ya betterrr get yer hooks in him fast! That's an extremely attrrractive option to a lot of grrirls. Gonna be like hanging a steak in front of some hungrrry dogs! I'm surrrprised ya ain't had any poacherrrs!"

Saki blinked. "Is that how it is?"

They nodded their heads. "A human asss a mate isss a big deal," Maya said. "Even minor hedge wizardsss make very good livingsss and claiming to be in an relationssship with an adventurer isss one of the most thrilling and exciting things there isss... better than dating a bard or a knight! Sssome girlsss day dream of princesss but just as many dream about romantic, live-life-by-their-own-rules adventurersss!"

"Out having wild and sexy adventurrres," Trudy said smiling. "Living freely. Lot's of girrrls, including monsterrr girls, thrrrowing themselves at them. Oh! He's on the move again. Come on!"

Saki and Maya followed as Saki thought about that. *Other ladies are going to find him an attractive in a lot of ways... just like I do,* she thought and blushed. The thought was distracting enough that she didn't notice the crowd of people coming out of a bar until it was too late. One of the drunks stumbled into her knocking her down.

"Whoops!" Said a gruff voice.

There's some laughter as some of the other drunks tell the guy "that's not how to sweep a girl off her feet" and another points out "she already fell for him" to more laughs.

The big man laughs but bends down. "Shawrry 'bout tha' lil' cutie."

Saki recoiled away and Maya helped her up as Trudy got between them growling at the men. "Grrr! Back off!"

The man, a half-orc, frowned at their reaction. He grunted picking up a piece of paper. The other revelers however got excited. "Woo!", " Look at the sexy ladies we found!", "Aww yeah!" And cries of "Come party with us girls! We'll show ya a good time" as they started to surround them.

Trudy continued growling as Maya pulled Saki away. "Sssorry boys but we're busssy right now. Sssome other time perhapsss..." She said trying to deescalate the situation and get Saki behind her...

... But the large half-orc's eyes widened looking at the paper in his hand. "Hey! This's my name an' info right 'ere... *HIC* why'dya...?!" His face grinned as Saki's blanched recognizing the info her classmates had given her in a potential "client" who was "into her type". This was apparently the guy. The man grabbed her hand. " Oh yeah! Yer jhest my type!" He said licking his lips. "An' you came 'ere looking fur me! Nice! I like tha'cher eager but sweet an' innocent looking lil' cutie! Letsh have sum fun!"

"No!" Saki cried out. "You're mistaken! It's not like that! Help me! David!" She struggled in vain trying to pull away from him but his grip was like iron.

Things were starting to get ugly. Maya was trying to reach back out to her but two men were closing on her as even more started facing off with Trudy who had her claws out and had already started fighting. "Getcherrr hands off a herrr rrright now yah ugly bastarrrd!"

The man frowned baring his teeth. "You bitches! I got no interest in ya! Guy's take care of them while I get to know this'n bettah. Soooo... Her name is-"

"Saki!"

Saki's heart soared. She knew that voice. "David!" There he was striding calmly but quickly their way his robes swishing. He smiled as he approached them. "There you girls are! You must have taken a wrong turn." He looked at the man. "Sorry for the trouble but this one isn't for you."

"Beat it human" the guy growled. "She's with... me"

David had waved his hand and the mans face grew somewhat slack and dazed looking. Saki quickly pulled her hand free and wrapped her arms around Dave's waist as he it himself between them. He waved his hand again in an odd little gesture and Saki knew he must be using magic as all the other men had similar expressions. "These aren't the ladies you're looking for."

"These aren't the ladies we're looking for," most of the group of drunks said.

"They can go about their business," Dave said

"You can go about your business," said most of the men.

"Move along," Dave said with a slight hint of a smile.

"Move along... move along," said the drunks stepping out of the girls way... However the big, ugly bastard started to shake his head. "Wait... What? No... She's mine!"

Dave frowned and muttered. "Not as weak minded as I thought. Fucking hentai ugly, bastard antagonist energy..." He sighed then spoke up smiling. "This little one's not worth the effort. Come now, let us pass."

The man growled. "Over my dead body-urk! *Gulp*"

Saki blinked. David had moved so quickly she'd never seen him draw a sword from his robes... but he had one now laid against the other mans neck as if it had simply materialized in his hand as he smiled and asked, "Is that how you want to end your night? It can easily be arranged. Or...?" Dave nodded in the opposite direction.

The big ugly bastard slowly raised his hands and stepped back nodding. "My mistake... Got tah get to th' next bar. Come on boys..." He slowly lead his dazed friends in the opposite direction as Dave, Saki, Truddy and Maya backed away in their own direction as Dave sheathed his blade.

"Thank you- eep!" Saki started to say before Dave had grabbed her into a hug.

"Saki!" He said in relief. "Are you alright? You weren't hurt were you? Thank the gods!"

Trudy started laughing as Maya hissed merrily as well as they watched Saki turn very red but also smile. *He was really worried about me! Not only did he save me but he cares... cares for me so much!* she hugged him back. "I'm fine now, David. Thanks to you and my new friends Trudy and Maya here!"

Dave reluctantly let her go nodding. "Alright, Saki." He turned to the new ladies and bowed. "You have my deepest gratitude. Thank you both so very much! It isn't much but can I at least buy you ladies a drink or dinner? Anything you want." He winked. "I would even pay for the evening so you two can simply join us."

Trudy and Maya smiled. They didn't often get treated to such courtesy... or to such a generous offer. "It wasss our pleasssure to help-," Maya got out before Trudy threw an arm around them. "Ya mean it! Yeah! Let's go parrrty!"

Maya rolled her eyes but David and Saki laughed and nodded. It was time to celebrate! Dave decided he wasn't going to pry. He simply held Saki's hand. "I'm so glad you are safe," he told her.

Saki smiled and leaned against him pulling his arm around her. "I'm safe because you rescued me."

She felt his arm pull her tight to him. "I always will. I promise you, Saki. I will always be here to help you if you want me to. No matter what."

Saki smiled happily. "Thank you, Master."

Dave chuckled. "You're not working right now you know?"

She nodded. "I know, David... I know."

Dave blinked getting out of the machine. "That was... interesting..."

Rika looked up from nearby. "What was? The computer generated extras or the older guy?"

Dave nodded. "Aha... ok. I was wondering if that was the old guy from Saki's original story. He was a bit different but similar."

Rika nodded reviewing the data. "Yes that was him. Rika knows Harley already explained it to you but all her stories original characters are present in a way but slightly changed to fit her new story setting."

Dave nodded. "Right. With the exception of Hiyato whose place the program supposedly shunted me into, they're all out there. So then who were those two ladies?"

Rika smiled. "New characters obviously! Unlike Casca's story, there are no "good" characters in Saki's original story. Hard to have a good ending without some help out there. Rika and the program worked hard, with Harley and Tink's input as well to make the personalities seem realistic, to make a few "assist" characters available. Think of them as assist NPCs designed by people who know you incase you two run into trouble."

Dave smiled and kissed her cheek causing her to blush. "Rika is very happy but what was that for?"

Dave smiled and stroked her hair. "For being Rika. You're both amazing and wonderful, Rika."

Rika was too cutely flustered to be perverse and Dave smiled at Saki who was still comfortably in stasis. "You don't know it yet but you have a lot of friends who are doing their very best for you, Saki. Rest well and we'll see you soon." He smiled. "Time for lunch and back to work."
