Safety First

Luke thought for a moment.

"Celestia, you mentioned a risk to my life. Can you help with that? Could you make me immortal or something." Luke asked still holding Ruby's Genie Lamp.

Celestia steps back and sits down on her throne.

"Hmm, well you Sorcerers already live hundreds of years. I don't think you need to be ageless. So it now depends on what type of immortality you want." Celestia said rubbing her belly.

Luke watches Celestia's belly for a moment before focusing.

"I understand your hesitation, people like telling stories that immortality is more of a curse than a blessing. But you mentioned Warlocks and a high risk of ****. So I had to ask ...., "Luke said looking between Celestia and Ruby.

"Mother, do you have a recommendation for preventing Luke's ****?" Ruby asked.

"I have 4 recommendations to cheat ****. 1st You can wish for 'Super Healing', 2nd You can wish to be 'Invulnerable' to harm, 3rd You can wish for a 'Respawn Location' method, and 4th You can wish for a 'Save State' condition. The first two options are self-explanatory. 'Respawn Location' works functionally like a Lich. Your soul would be bound to an artifact, which lets you respawn if your body is destroyed. 'Save State' lets you awaken a day or two before your ****, knowing how you died.

Luke looked at his phone. It showed 7 AM, he had 30 minutes before work. Luke began to pace in the throne room considering his options.

"I don't want to draw the attention of other Sorcerers or worse Warlocks. So 'Super Healing' and 'Invulnerable' are off the table." Luke said tapping on the Lamp in his hands.

Luke considered the 'Save State' option but was reminded of the Ground Hoggs Day Movie. He decided to avoid time loops altogether.

"Celestia, are there any limitations on the 'Respawn Location' option?" Luke looked up to Celestia.

"Not really, so long as you have a sufficient soul anchor, you can be respawned from any plane or realm. I just so happen to have an artifact that might help." Celestia said pulling out a box from the air.

"What's that?" Ruby said stepping closer.

"Here take a look you two," Ruby said smiling.

Luke walked up to the box held open by Celestia. He saw a clear glass sphere.

"This is a 'Soul Crystal'. Whoever holds this crystal can wish to be 'Soul Bond' to the object." Celestia said looking into Luke's eyes.

"But, Don't confuse this power with 'Soul-Linked'." Celestia said with a smile.

"What's 'Soul-Linked'?" Ruby asked confused.

"Never mind that now," Celestia said still staring at Luke.

Luke met her eyes and swallowed hard. He was reminded of the moral implications of using his power 'Harem Enslavement' on his Jinn baby mamas. Luke wondered if their personality change was caused by his power. Or was it from wishing they were Deeply in Love with him?

"So what does it do?" Ruby asked breaking Luke from his internal musings.

"The 'Soul Bond' person will have their soul pulled into the 'Soul Crystal' after ****. A short time later, the person will spawn out of the sphere with a new body. It can be used countless times. And it doesn't use **** magic like lich phylacteries. Oh, and you can also Wish to be released from the crystal if you're inside it. That will kill you and destroy the object. So don't worry about being spawn camped by your enemies," Celestia said picking up the 'Soul Crystal'.

"Place the crystal in a safe location after you bond with it," Celestia said handing it to Luke.

Luke took the crystal and held it tight.

"I wish to completely understand everything about 'Soul Crystals'," Luke said remembering his control over his Celestia's magic.

Celestia snapped her fingers, and Luke was flooded with knowledge. He marveled at the object in his hand. It was worth billions of dollars.

"Celestia, you would let me use this object? You should sell it." Luke said handing it back.

"No need, I am the Ruler of the Land of Dreams. What is the point to money and magic if you don't use it." Celestia said with a laugh.

Luke looked to Ruby. She gave a shrug.

"Okay, here it goes. I wish to be 'Soul Bond' to this 'Soul Crystal'." Luke said placing the sphere to his chest.

The room was filled with white light. After a long moment, the light faded. Luke looked down to see the once empty glass sphere now filled with a glowing internal light.

"Pretty" Ruby said cheerfully.

"Hind is somewhere safe. No one can reuse your 'Soul Crystal' but they can still break it," Celestia said eyeing Luke.

"I don't intend to hind it," Luke said holding the crystal out.

"What?" Celestia asked confused.

"I don't know when I will be back here, but I want you to have something personal of mind to remember me," Luke said looking down at Celestia's belly.

"Other than our baby," Luke said patting Celestia's belly with a laugh.

"I can't, you would respawn faster if the object is on Earth," Celestia said standing up.

"My queen, what better place to respawn than in the hands of the most powerful person I know. If I ever get killed, I want you to be my safe space. From here I can reflect on my **** and make a plan." Luke said stepping up to his purple goddess.

"I ... I understand," Celestia said tearing up.

"I wish my 'Soul Crystal' was encased in golden and fixed to a gold necklace. I wish no one could take this neckless off Queen Celestia, except for me." Luke said holding the glowing sphere up.

Celestia snapped her fingers twice. With a crack of lighting Luke's 'Soul Crystal' was a part of a gorgeous gold necklace.

"Bend down," Luke said meeting Celestia's eyes.

Ruby watched as Luke placed the glowing 'Soul Crystal Necklace' around her mother's neck. She got a pang of jealousy for a moment. But she saw Luke was still carrying her Genie Lamp in his left hand. Ruby reconsidered her feelings. She shouldn't feel jealous, she gets to accompany Luke back to Earth. The idea of servicing his every interest made her smile.

Celestia grabbed Luke in an embrace.

"Thank you for entrusting me," Celestia said crying.

"Now now, don't cry. You are my powerful purple goddess. I would be a fool not to trust in the women I love." Luke said kissing Celestia's forehead.
