Sad Twinkle Eyes

After filling in her lover with the rundown of everything that had taken place, Chae came to the root of her discussion.

"I think we ought to set up a proper course of jobs.... for everyone not to slack off. We're already in October and I have fourteen children that need somewhere to thrive once they're released from the nursery..."

Chae looked bewildered just saying that as she held up her wristband in the darkness, the number fourteen glowing softly blue. The Tempests had relayed 14 birth certificates through the Nightingales for her to fill out, for the newborns, for the adult and toddler offspring as well. She'd just left them in her tent until later when she could actually sit down and write out names for the hurricane of children.

"It's so much to do... especially when all I want.. is to ask you to be my girlfriend..."

Chae's face was very red as she asked this of the woman and looked away with her sad twinkling jade eyes.
