SSS 2 Postgame

Thanks for reading another SSS story. SSS2 was 21 weeks long. In no particular order, here is relevant information about this story, the next story, and yuri stories in general if you care. And I’ll make a separate page for talking about where to go next.

1. First and second-place point leaders will get a story of their choosing and everyone in the midfield will get a small prize if they want it. I’ll send those DMs today. The final choice (secrecy/truth) has no point value, but it will affect Meri’s future.
2. The identities of the other diners from the beginning can be found here in case you’re wondering.
3. The feedback has been consistent that SSS would be better without the third S; that’s why this story was designed to have a body count of zero. I respect that nobody is here to read about ****, so future SS/CCL content will continue to lean in less lethal directions. I insist that there still be stakes, maybe scares, and even the occasional ****/peril, but you don’t need to worry about wholesale slaughter or being instakilled like in the original SSS. (It felt as though some readers were afraid that might happen in SSS 2, but that was never possible in SSS 2.)
4. As we’ve done in the past, before some new vote-oriented yuri story begins, SSS 2 will have an ongoing epilogue that will flesh it out and may help you better understand what happened. You can expect this on Saturdays. Saturday is Yuri day now, not Monday/Friday. It has to be Saturday because Batgirl already took Sunday. When the epilogue ends, a new SS(?) of some kind will begin unless everyone says they don’t want it.
5. The Yurizine will be released soon. I say this not because people are clamoring for it, but because I announced it ages ago and then didn’t do it. I’m trying to stay in the habit of delivering on promises, even if they’re promises that nobody cares about. But I have 5 stories picked out and I’m just cleaning them up to eliminate as many errors as possible before I put it together. It’s at least 60% CCL-related content, and like my other zines it’s guaranteed to include a story with ‘family values’.
