SS(S)S - Date

A tennis date with a beautiful woman.

Your impulsive decision to follow Sal turned into a sneaking mission followed by a web of lies. Which has somehow led to the type of situation that you had pictured for yourself when you dreamed of joining CCL.

Your plan is going swimmingly, but your feelings are still complicated as you drive back to CCL House to get your gym bag. You spend a few minutes on your appearance, then drive back into town to keep your date. You’ve often tried to imagine how things would go and made predictions, only for things to turn out wildly different. You feel that happening now. Your gimmick to get past Sal’s defenses worked perfectly, but the aftermath is taking a shape that you did not predict. Things went well, yet you still feel as though you are in uncharted waters.

You arrive at the school tennis courts. Photog students call this golden hour. There are four courts, and three are unused. Sal’s waiting for you in her tennis outfit: a light gray skirt and top that looks more sleek and sophisticated than cute, but everything looks good on someone like her.

You feel a sudden self-consciousness as you smile and trot up to her. You’re a decent athlete, but you are not actually good at tennis. You should be transparent.

Clutching your racket, you look up at Sal, whose confidence and athletic grace in this sunlight borders on the unfair. Your weakness for older girls is even worse than you thought.

“I don’t really know much about tennis. I was going to teach my friend,” you say.

Sal laughs. “Showing off? Don’t worry. I can teach you.”

You almost shudder at the powerful onee-sama energy that comes off her. But this is a different kind of onee-sama. Instead of one elegantly drinking tea, this is the rugged senpai on a sports team.

“Something on my face?” Sal asks.

You shake your head quickly.

“OK,” you say eagerly. “Teach me.”

Athena, Yuki, and Nancy are at the con right now, stuck at that booth drinking bottled water and taking pictures with people. That’s not exactly ****, but you feel like you’re skipping out on chores as you hit balls back and forth with Sal, who is clearly going easy on you and taking her role as coach seriously. She’s not an amazing player by any means, but she’s more than good enough to teach you.

Seeing her smile and laugh as you play makes you realize that she’s not just doing this for you. It seems like she’s trying to take her mind off something as well. That makes you curious. It seems like Sal has it made. She’s president of her sorority, which has not been recently rocked by scandal like CCL was. Something must be on her mind, because this seems to be therapy for her too.
