SAPPHIC SORORITY STOWAWAY SLASHER
You aren’t exactly Solid Snake, but you’ve played enough stealth games to get the idea. And doing stealthy stuff with totally unsuspecting college girls in the parking lot at a con isn’t quite as hard as the stuff you had to do in MGSV. But… you should have cosplayed as Snake.
You get rid of your CCL shirt and throw away your ropes. In just your Spider-Man costume, you take your chance to slide into the car when it’s safe. The parking lot is more than quiet enough to cover the sound of a car door opening and closing, and you scramble over the third row into the cargo space at the back.
Sal’s friend is a blonde with a pixie cut. You know her by sight: you’ve seen her at the university pool. She’s a serious swimmer, and you have lowkey checked her out a few times, but know nothing about her.
It’s not until the engine starts that you realize how badly you have fucked up. How the hell are you going to get back to the con? Doesn’t matter. Abandoning the con and doing something stupid are serious issues, but so is whatever is going on here. You get a weird, menacing vibe from it. Someone is doing something wrong. Maybe it’s Sal, maybe it’s Athena, or maybe it’s both. Whatever the truth is, you have to find it not for your sake, but for CCL. That is the only way that you will be able to defend this truly boneheaded decision.
Sal and her companion don’t say anything for the first few minutes. They’re listening to Kaleida, but not very loud.
“You really aren’t going to tell me what that was?” the Swimmer asks after a while.
“Nope,” Sal replies disinterestedly.
Whatever it is, Sal’s not being truthful with her girls about it. So the president of CCL and the president of CGH have something in common. Two things.
It’s a long drive, and all you get out of it is a few snippets without context. Sal must be deep in her phone while the Swimmer drives. They speak a few times, but it’s hard to read much in it. They’re friends and comfortable with each other, but you don’t sense any romance between them, not that there’s any reason to suspect that. You know that there must be queer girls in CGH, but they aren’t like CCL where half the fun is being as gay as humanly possible at all times.
To your relief, they don’t stop for gas or anything else. There’s no opportunity for them to discover you and they don’t have bags in the back or any reason to check it. As the atmosphere in the SUV changes and the speed slows down, signaling that you’re close to your destination, you have to make a choice.
The tires roll to a halt. You have to assume that you’re at CGH’s house, which you know nothing about or even where it is. If you want the truth, you’ll have to get in there. That’s the whole point of stowing away.
But you are completely blind on the floor of the SUV’s cargo space. Sal and her friend are climbing out.
You can make your move now and potentially see where Sal is headed.
Or you can wait to make sure it’s clear, but you’ll have to find Sal later.
