S.E.R.P.E.N.T. (Secret Enterprise for Robbery, Piracy, Extortion, and Terrorism) is a snake-themed, all-female criminal organization dedicated to the pursuit of wealth and power. Armed with the latest weapons and technology from ACME - as well as a special drug called "Venom" (a watered down version of adrenochrome) that when injected into their veins temporarily enhances their peak human abilities along with minor superpowers - its agents travel the world doing the company's dirty work, missions that usually involve espionage, intimidation, kidnapping, assassination, etc.

Under the ruthless leadership of The Cobra Queen, Veda Kane, S.E.R.P.E.N.T. - while leaning more on the street-level side of the supervillain spectrum as they rarely pose any real threat to the A-list superheroes - has still established itself as a force to be reckoned with when it comes to the political side of the Vixen Universe!
