What is the emergency
Rust monster attack
“I am sorry Mr Mo I am going to have to put your treatment on hold, this sounds important.” She apologised. She slipped her gloves back on and rushed out to the accident and emergency department. Normally as a slime, she preferred to slide along the ground which was harder in her protective suit but still used very little concentration. For this emergency, she formed her slime into long legs and began to run. It took a great deal of concentration to hold this form keeping her “feat” hard and her legs thin, however, it was much faster.
As she turned the corner into the A& E she saw her patient. He was an iron robot almost fully coated in rust and it seems that his internal mechanisms had been infected too. “How did this happen?” She asked in shock.
“Rust monster attack” Dr Leesha replied. She had red hair on her head and red scales on her serpentine body.
Rust monsters, also called iron drakes were selectively bread drakes that fed on scrap metal. Their Latin name as Dracarys Ferrum adae not to be mistaken for Draco Ferridae which were true dragons with iron like scales. Rust monsters created a vapour that rapidly rusts iron. It appears this poor robot had been hit with a direct blast. The drakes vapour was acidic making it very dangerous to handle while it still ate away at the robot’s body.
“Prep the acid-resistant room, I need to do some suitless work.” Dr Cola explained. Others sent the message ahead as Dr Cola rushed the cart to her special room. This room had been constructed specially for the treatment of robots and it was coated in a neutral substance that was immune to her acidic body. In here she could remove her suit to use her whole body on a patient. She stripped off her suit and sloshed into the room. It felt good to be free, most slimes wore no clothing as although they could make most of their body acidic to dissolve food were naturally neutral and contained. Cola was different as her whole body was acidic.
She made her way over to the robot and started coating his body. She felt the sharp tang of the stronger acid mixed with the sweetness of rust. “Oh, yer .” She involuntary moaned as the favours reached her sensors. “Now,” she addressed the patient. “I am going to go inside your body. This will clear out any of the monsters remaining acid and clear up any rust inside you. I will also be able to assess the damage to your systems. Once I am out, I will clear your external panels and joints.” She explained. Wasting no time, she dived into the robot’s mouth.
The robot was lucky the rust monster’s vapour had not made it into his gas exchange system (the equivalent of lungs) and she had gotten to his throat before it had rusted shut. She travelled down to his fuel processor (stomach) where the vapour had only just reached. She let her body bubble away in there for a few minutes.
“ Urrrrp !” the robot burped as the slime sent gasses up his throat. He had never had something so large in his fuel processor before and never something as fizzy. It felt good. If he could move his joints, he would attempt to stimulate his external pleasure sensors. However, rusted over as he was that was impossible.
It felt good for Dr Cola too. This robot’s insides were warm and the rust tasty she could bubble away in here for hours, but she risked her weak acid doing damage to his systems. Therefore, she worked her way back out. When she emerged from his lips she lingered there for a bit to give him movement in them so that he could talk again.
“Thank, you Doctor.” The robot gasped.
“Now, I have another patient I was attending too. So, with your consent, I would like to take you inside me for external treatment. Therefore, I can return to the other patient.” She explained.
“That sounds alright.” The robot replied.
This was experimental for Dr Cola but she didn’t have time to massage every single panel on his body, Mr Mo was waiting. She took his body in her hands and slowly started to envelop it. “How long can up go without gas exchange?” She asked.
“One hour” the robot replied.
“That should be more than enough. Prepare to shut down gas exchange” she instructed. Giving the robot a second, she then enveloped the rusty robot within her
body. She shifted him to her centre of mass so she could move more easily. Her belly bulged out and as she began to bubble, she could taste the rust, it was delicious. The poor bot would be right as rain in half an hour and she could finish treating Mr Mo at the same time. She squeezed back into her suit having to glide no longer being able to from legs.
She wobbled down the corridor, like a pregnant jelly, back to her office. Know she knew why the mammalian people took time off work when pregnant. She was glad that slimes reproduced by mixing and budding. She hadn’t felt this bloated since she ate that dwarf last Christmas as a special treat. But that was a story for another time.
