Chapter 7

Onward!
Run, Run Far Away; And Never Return!
"I says this here Mintrachank fella should be da leada." Borgol said after the question of who was in charge was raised.
Mintrachank smiled and rose to accept the position of leadership, but at a muttered word in infernal From Kurvannug he changed tack smothly.
"I would gladly accept, but I am just a servant to Mistress Kurvannug. If you wish a leader she is far better than I," he said without any trace of the bitterness he felt at having to bend the knee to a mere mortal.
With Borgol behind Mintrachank and him behind Kurvannug, three of the natural choices were in agreement that Kurvannug should lead, and a quick vote confirmed her status as Acting Headmistress of the village. She took the oaths of obedience from the survivors and took the warhammer of leadership from from Borgol, who had rescued it from the adventures when the previous Headman had died.
The next topic up for debate was weather to stay and rebuild, track and destroy the adventurers while they were weak, or flee the area entirely. "If'n we killz em, dey can't tell nobody where da village was, an we can get ta rebuildin safely like," Borgol suggested. "Dey canz't ha got healed in only a few hours from all the hurt our guyz musta dun, an then they'd be easy pickin."
There were mixed feelings about this idea, but good or bad, Kurvannug shut it down.
"If I were them I would have both a primary and secondary healer, so they probably won't be that weak by now. Not only that, but if they are sponsored by the Hansiantic League they would have a scroll of far-speaking or a mage who can cast the spell, and have already relayed the position of the village to whoever hired them. We have ****, we run, and never look back." Kurvannug explained.
There was dark muttering, but Gomlech silenced it. "You just made my wife Headmistress, either you will not follow her and are liars, or you will obey your oaths and pack up our supplies to head out: which will it be?"
By dawn they were ready to head out.
Most Obvious Things To Vote On This Time:
Which way do they go?
They are on the border of the tribal communities area between the mountains and the Hanseantic League.
Vote a number one to eight: one is "North", each number beyond that moves around the compass one spot clockwise, so "Four" would be "South-East" and "Seven" would be "West".
(I have some vague ideas in mind for each direction.)

[Orcs And Outposts] (Multi-Quest: Storytellers Welcome!)
Play As One Of The Classic 'Monster' Races From D&D In A World Where It's Humans & Their Allies Who Are Evil.
It is a generic Fantasy world, with one major difference: humans and the other classic protagonist races are evil, decadent, and corrupt, while the classic 'monsters' are noble and virtuous. You take on the role of one of those 'monsters' while they try to overcome the alliance of the 'Civilized' Races and free the world from their oppression.
